They were looking for Millisa but I said no one hear. Next day they call and ask for Millisa no one hear by that name. I was thinking that my mom was on online gambling but who knows.

Me thinks Jesus is calling. REALLY! (Common name around here). Creeps "borrow" these numbers, and don't know how easily they are traced. Report it locally and nationally!!!!!!!!!!!!

775-412-4499 calls numerous times a day to my cell phone. Same story as others, rude, claiming I owe money that I don't owe.  They will not verify the supposed debt.  I reported it to the FTC and I am on the do not call - let's see if it helps.  So far, it has not!

Multiple calls during the days aomong with others numbers, they sometime'd ask a name which not belong here. No message leave. These idiots could be a debt collector.

I am constantly getting phone calls from this place, who ever they are. They never leave a message. Why call me twice a day and never leave a message? What a waste of time. I love that this sight lets us voice what is going on with these phone numbers!!

I started getting calls from them 775-412-4499. Some recorded message say that if I am so&so, to continue to listen and if not, to hang up. As..... they think that they will decide what I listen to at my home???

These agencies may not be allowed to report, but the creditors are lyeing all the time. I had an account with Fashion Bug. They would hold my payments, no matter how early I made them, until after they could add late fees. They said it didn't matter when it was made, it matters when it's posted. After the fourth month of them adding fess, i stopped paying. I had paid what I truly owed. Couldn't win with them. The reported the debt. When it came off of my record, they reported it again. When I challenged with the Equifax, they checked with Fashion Bug. All they had to say was it's legit, and that was that. Now it's valid as far as Equifax is concerned. I even sent them a copy of my report from Trans Union with that same debt. It didn't matter. If this is Fingerhut. I ordered from them 15 years ago. Come on now.

Okay...so we started getting phone calls a few months ago.  Here's the thing....don't answer the phone.  I don't owe anybody money that isn't getting money from me already.  I have a great credit report and a high credit number.  They don't have any personal information on me, just my phone number which is being randomly generated by a software program in hopes that I will answer, panic, cave under the pressure and send them some money.  I refuse to indulge them by answering the phone and having a pointless conversation.

Started receiving calls from this number after staying in some Vegas hotels. (Stayed in 2 major Vegas hotels) If you are in VEGAS, DON'T GIVE OUT YOUR REAL PHONE # WHEN YOU STAY AT HOTELS!!! My cell phone is private and now the'se f'ers are blowing it up (already 2 calls today)!!!

Just returned from Vegas yesterday night and already received 2 calls from this #. Pressed 1 to speak to someone and hung up after being 3 minutes on hold. All my bills are current, and I have no past collections. WTF. I'm not interested in telemarketers calling my cell#. Somebody please shut these jokers down!!!

Called here twice this morning. Once at 8:09 AM - this is SATURDAY! Called back at 9:40 AM. I don't answer the phone if I don't recognize the number or the name, and UNAVAILABLE is nobody I know. Answering machine picked up both times, and the only message they left was *click*. Bunch of dummies! If it's not important enough to leave a message, then it's not important enough to concern me.

775-412-4499 continues to call our home  I never answer because I don't answer our phone unless I recognize the number...answering machine picks up and the message it leaves is an annoying screech that sounds like a fax machine - very, very annoying!!!!

Didn't pick up on call since ID only showed "Reno NV".  Called back with my number blocked.  'Hello, this is JoAnn.  How can I help you?'  Didn't identify the company at all.  

No idea who these people are but no way will I trust them.  For all I know, they're another boiler room trying to pull a scam.  We've had a rash of them in this area for a while now.

They keep calling on both my home and cell phones for another person who doesn’t live here. These are all slimeball outfits that buy up old charged off debts for pennies on the dollar and try to collect. They appear to collect any & all phone numbers that may be related to the person they are trying to contact and hound the hell out of everyone them. When calls from one of them stop, calls from one of the others start.  Here is information I have garnered on them from various internet searches:

I have received a call from this number to a skype account which should not be associated with any identifiable human being.  They are clearly random dialing.

I refuse to answer this unknown number. They never leave a message, so I figure its not important. Probably collections.

Just received a call from these low lifers over an unpaid bill which is beyond the SOL.  Had some financial difficulties several years ago and it went unpaid.  
First of all, they call...when you answer now one is there.  When you try to call back, their phone either doesn't ring or you get a message saying the number is disconnected or no longer in service.  And if you do get someone to answer, they answer by saying "hello" or by just a name....not a company name.  
In short, in finally getting to speak to Miss somebody or the other..she proceeded to tell me about this debt from 2002.  I told her that I will send a certified letter requesting copies of the Original documents for this credit card as I told her that I am not familiar with it.  She said there was no need for a letter that she would put a request in for them and have them mailed.  PS....she said she will get them from their "client" who is Palisades Collections.  Out of curiosity, I called Palisades and told them about this call from First United and asked them to verify the debt by sending me a copy of the original documents.  The representative from Palisades told me that they have no access to them.  So right there, First United lied.  
But before I called Palisades, again, not owning up to this debt, I did say to the woman from First United that the SOL was up on this account and she proceeded to tell me that she knows more about the SOL than I do and that she was looking at the information on her computer.  I pulled up the same information from the Attorney General's Office website and low and behold, the SOL for credit card/open end accounts is 4 years.  This information was recently updated.  She basically called me a liar and said that it's 6 years....DUH either way, SOL is still up on it because she said it's from 2002.  It's now 2009....guess they need new calculators!  
Now after receiving this first call, I got another from the same phone number.  Not thinking I answered it again.  I told the woman who was very nasty that I am sending them a cease and desist letter until they can verify that I even owe this debt.  Her response was.."no need to send a letter, I will just remove your phone number and contact our "client" and advise them of your refusal of pay and that they will have to take further collection actions".  I have already requested complaint forms from the Attorney General and filed a complaint with the BBB.
