Caller hangs up when I answer.  My number is [removed]

I was receiving phone calls in all day from 1-785-799-3900, so I called the number given here: 785-799-3500 and ask the lady to remove my number from their list,she was very professional and said my number will be removed. I hope...

Just called the 3500 number, talked to Cindy and she was very pleasant but did tell me that it could take up to 30 days for the removal.

I have been getting daily calls with no message from this number. We have never been able to connect, and when we are home and pick up, they hang up.
I called them and it is a marketing service. I left a message asking them to remove us from their list, but still keep getting daily calls. I am listed on the DO NOT CALL' list, so this is surprising that they continue to call.

That is a great idea! I must get at least 10 calls a day from various charities and now this BVTM. What a pain!

We have been receiveing calls everyday from BVTM. The first time I answered and there was no one on the line. Now I use my caller ID and just do not answer the phone when I see it is from them.  I wish they would stop.

Firm called me 5 times.  Tried to call the # and kept trying.  Finally got through just to get a voice mail.  Next subsequent times I would call the system would wind up hanging up on me.  Unclear if other party was on the line or not.

Because there was continued harrassment (5*) and because there was no way to speak to a rep, I threatened legal action to have this firm shut down.  You can not keep calling the way they did.  Plus I was on the Do Not Call list and filed multiple complaints.  

Also wrote to their Telecom Provider Blue Valley Telecommunications advising them they had a rogue Robocaller and to have it disconnected otherwise they will be named in a lawsuit as I sue them and the telemarketting firm for harrassment if it wasn't shut down.  

Sorry but having a system which calls multiple times which doesn't accomplish anything like that is harrassment no matter how you look.  I don't take kindly to telemarketters.

785-799-3900 called my cell.  How do these companies get my number?  Annoying!!!!

847-619-3800 is a business number, please remove our telephone number from you call list.

I am astonished to see 15 pages of comments about this number.  And just imagine all the others who didn't post here -- must be thousands.  What a scourge. I got a call from this number and there was no message left on the answering machine -- "BTM" on the caller ID. It's very annoying, especially when there's no message!

Thank you for the information. I just called to be removed from their list and the call was handled very professionally. Now let's see if they actually take me off of the list.

Several call from these people, call them back no answer, please remove my number

I called 1-800-882-0803 and reached the Blue Valley Telemarketing (there are several office buildings, but this is the number you want.) and they removed my number off of all of their databases.
Problem solved!!

ALSO, if you recieve calls from many other telemarketers, you may register on donotcall.gov and most of the calls will stop...and if some don't, just speak with the telemarketers when they call and tell them you are on Do Not Call, and they should remove your phone number from their databases right away :]

These folks keep pestering me about renewing my subscription to Information Week.

Call them on their 800 number because it costs them $ per minutes.
Then stretch the phone call as long as possible when you tell them to TAKE ME OFF YOUR CALLING LIST

I just called 1-800-882-0803 to have them stop calling me. The person that answered was very pleasant. She asked for my number, and the number on my caller ID (785-799-3900). She said she would have my number removed. Thanks for the 800 number.

Received calls from this number for several days and decided to pick up - no one there.  Reading through these reports, I called back the number 785-799-3500 that someone else posted and asked them to remove our phone number - the lady who answered was very courteous and took our number, asked what the number was we were receiving the calls from, and said she would pass our number along to have it removed from their calling list.
