why the heck should i block the number?  they only allow you to block so many numbers on the phone and with the amount of nuts calling even though i am on the do not call list my block list has been full for a long time...........how do we know they are illegal?? you must work for them or you would not have made such a comment...............all you have to do is look them up.........they are not with the BBB either........

They've been calling my desk line at the office for a couple weeks now but I hadn't been present to pick it up until now. They were calling to "update my information" so they could send me a free IT security mag. Need to call that other line and get removed.

You say to be nice and that you will be nice in return. I just received a call from one of your co workers and when I told her that the number she called was a business and to not call again, she rudely hung up on me without saying a word!!

I am sad to say that I definitely walked away with the feeling that these guys are up to serious criminalist behavior. And to call them and give them any information, including asking them to stop any illegal behaviors could land me on their target list.  These are scary days and it isn't worth the risk except the hope that the Feds will take these concerns seriously and stop anyone that is doing awful criminal things.

If they are telemarketers...then why don't they EVER say anything when you answer the phone, what are they telemarketing? That is the annoying part.

No thank. Well it is a job. Were hired from a company (several actually) so if you have problems with them hiring us to call then take it up with them. And maybe I'm working there as I do online classes to get my higher education. It's a small town so there really aren't too many jobs around. Did you start off with a "real job with some real skills"? I bet you did a cook for McDonalds or swept a shop as an early job

Most of what we call are b2b publications (business to business) are aimed you better your operation as a business in some way, whether I.T, or health and safety, or a magazine that involves your primary manufactured product. So we call businesses for that reason (including government). And yes, we do follow the dnc list we check it following the laws as stated. And the easiest way to stop the calls?  Let the rep know you are not interested and say  "put me on your do not  call list" (respectfully will make it a whole lot smoother for you" and you are as you requested. It's human nature, if you're polite to someone they'll most always be nice back.

This is a business phone line.  We have a missed call from this number everyday but, they don't leave a message on our machine.  If they call when we are here and we answer, no one is there.  Please stop calling our place of business.

Just got a call as well.  I believe that these are some type of robot dialers...where they just keep dialing numbers until they get someone live...then possibly sell your number to other telemarketers once they know it is a live number.  Rule of thumb, if you do not recognize the number...just don't answer.  If it happens to be important, they will leave a message :-).

On March 13, 2014, 9:10 AM  EST, I received another voice call from them. I return called their 800# (800-882-0803) and after contacting, complaining and getting no satisfaction whatsoever from the Washington, DC offices of the FCC and FTC, I voice spoke with a lady who answered this Blue Valley Telemarketing phone line, and who identified herself as Jennifer Jones. I repeated for the 43rd (!) time: "Please turn your recorder on... [Response: We do not have a recorder (both FTC and FCC, knowing this firm, says they DO record incoming calls)"  I continued: "For the 43rd time, take the number xxx-xxx-xxxx (our home number) off your records, and do not call that number (OR) myself or my family again." Response: "Sir, I have no way of doing that (FCC and FTC say this is a false statement via wire, a federal offense possibly U.S. Justice Department investigable) I repeated the exact demand a second time, first again requesting that she turn her recorder on. Response: Click, phone conversation terminated.

It is far past time to sue these people, AND to sue the Federal Government for deliberate non-action, and get our $11,000 or more back from them, which of course is a laugh, as we will never see a penny of that or anything else.

Has everyone gone mad here? This company is making unsolicited calls to your residence or business. It doesn't matter that they're courteous if/when you talk to them, they're still wasting your time by having to take that 60+ seconds to tell them not to do what they shouldn't be doing in the first place! If you get 5 of these calls a day, as I do, that's an average of 10-15 minutes to deal with this crap. Who has that kind of time during a work day to deal with this kind of bulls**t!

Call came in as External party (did not show phone number). Female ID'd herself as Michelle, asking for one of our engineers. When I asked what company she was calling from, she replied: "Blue Valley". Googled the name and a telemarketing company in Kansas popped up. She went to a generic voice mailbox.

I have not had any print subscriptions since 1973, so I'm *sure* I'm not on any subscriber list. This is just another robocaller annoying those of us who have gone through proscribed channels to avoid these kinds of calls.  If they're legit they're not doing a very good job of screening the source of the questionable lists they've bought.
