Automated voice claiming to be sprint and said my account was flagged for security purposes and i needed to enter my pin.  I hung up and called Sprint.  They confirmed it was not them and that it was probably a phishing scam.

if Sprint calls you, they do not need you to enter your pin.

I'm in Omaha as well, looks like the auto dialer is hitting our area as we're all posting about this at the same time.  Currently 3/25/2011 @2:19pm CST.  This is obviously a phishing attempt, do not enter your PIN number unless you like being the victim of identity theft.

When the tone prompted for me to enter my PIN, I stated, "Go &#*$ yourself, I hope your mother dies of venereal disease and the fleas of a thousand camels infest your nose hair."

I too am in Omaha and just got this call a few minutes ago.

Sounds like it is calling all the numbers in exchanges owned by Sprint, so if you moved to another carrier and took your phone number with you, they don't know that.

Obviously a phishing attempt, but to what end?  What could someone do with the PIN to my Sprint account?  How could they profit at my expense?  Just curious - seems like a lot of effort - someone would not go through that much effort for a prank, there must be some way for them to use this PIN for profit or else no one would setup this robocall.

I got a call about a half hour ago saying the same thing.... If you happened to enter your pin number, go straight to your sprint account and change your pin, username, and password RIGHT AWAY!!!!! After that call sprint and let them know that if anything happens on your account to let you know. You also might want to also change some settings on your account so you get text messages or emails when something does change.
