- FrankI received 3 phone calls from 800 237-3901 after using iYogi to fix their software problems. Each time the only thing I heard was music being played. I looked up the number at www.inter800.com and found a listing for Custom TollFree located in CA. 1-800-237-8664 Call Online for Free!

- rt.callThis number was given to me to call for Kaspersky software support. I called them and they kept wanting to remote connect to my computer which sent off bells in my head. Then they inform me they can help me but it will cost, which should cost me a thing when I had a full subscription and it was the activation code that wouldn't work. Luckily, I needed to call my ISP which ment I needed to get off the phone. They have now called me 12 times in 1 1/2 hrs.
- Caller: ? Kaspersky sofware support.
- FushUman| 2 repliesI called Comcast tech support with some questions, and after hanging up my phone immediately began receiving repeated incoming calls from 1-800-237-3901.
These calls were unsolicited, and each time went to voicemail, wherein a 'non' message of garbled background curry munching white noise was left each time.
Seems whom ever this iyogi business is, is in the business of hijacking or sniffing out #s that have gone to any off shore tech support outfit.
What. A Bunch. Of [***].- Caller: iyogi
- Norm HaugenI answer and no one answers. I found out from other posts that is iyogi. I purchased their 1 year service yesterday. I do not wish them to call my cell phone.
- Tech that won't work for these clownsIt's a GD bunch out of India called iYogi. They are the WORST for wanting to remote in, then they screw everything up then they outsource a local "tech" (usually a wannabe for the rates they pay) to come and wipe the system and reload it since they mucked it up. BLOCK their number, they are worse than any GeekSquad or Staples SleezyTech scenario you can imagine.

- Lorette| 3 repliesI like Yogi it is a technician inside my computer and fix it in no time. It is less expensive than having a technician come to the house. I can do this anytime and they fix it in no time. It is less expensive than having a salesman come in and charge me who fix computers. If it is too high then ask for less.

He tried to install a virus remover program onto my computer & when I told him no he was persistent. I immediantly stopped the session when I realized it was not McAfee tech. He then try to sell me a package to clean my pc & got irritable when I told them my husband friend who is a computer tech for the Marines does it for us for free! I then told him all I was calling for was because my McAfee software froze and he said he was from iyogi and that I needed to buy their package. I said no & hung up. Now this annoying little man calls my # still persistent on me buying their package cuz my pc is infected, which it is not. I just needed to reinstall my McAfee software. Now how do I get them to stop calling? Don't trust iyogi, they just want to sell u crap your computer doesn't need!

- SkeenI have a two year contract with iYogi. At first I thought it was kind of expensive, But they have now twice in that 2 years saved me from major virus problems. Remote control of a computer is a common repair process experience for anyone who works at major US companies with multiple offices spread across the country. My main office is in NY, where the top IT guys are, but I am based in California. They commonly take control of a computer remotely, with the user watching and with permission, in order to fix something beyond the knowledge of the support staff sitting before it. I have had only a good experience with iYogi. And, yes, my contract is expiring in 4 months, so they are calling a little early--a common tactic of American companies also...
- Kate replies to LoretteYou must work for them. What a load of BS.
- PeteYes and this is iyogi tech support who unfortunately I used to have my computer overhauled. They did the work for 169.99 which included the installation of a Norton 360 Anti-Virus but I was unable to renew online and I ended up calling support and guess who was on the other end of the line. Indian guys doing tech work for who knows who and now that the years rolling around they are calling here constantly and this has become annoying.
Pete - Brian replies to NordThey called me 12 times tonight. The last call was at 11:57 PM. I sent their information to the authorities for investigating.
