I still believe it's a scam sorry

Just got a call from this number. The guy didn't state who he was or who he was with just said 'Yo!' When asked who he was he didn't reply so I said silent and he said, "What- you ain't got nothin to say?" in a really hateful tone. As I was replying to him he said I needed to stop yapping and listen with a few profanities thrown in. I hung up pretty quick. If this really was a Verizon call then they really need to train their people better. I mean- what the heck?!

I received a follow up call regarding Verison service. WARNING - any caller ID number can be faked!! I OFTEN receive calls with FAKED caller ID numbers.  If you're not sure it's Verison - look up their phone number on their website and call that number back!! Avoid a SCAM!

They managed to weasle my full SSN and my last name out of me before I wisened up. I think Project Fi is a better choice if you don't want to be cucked by a bunch of moneyhungry human piles of excrement that are too incompetent to take web security seriously.

Didn't answer. Says here it's Verizon I don't have Verizon and never did so no reason for them to call me

Got a call that claimed we were getting $50.00 gift card and 2 free months, asked for last 6 numbers of SS and 4 digit code.  Called the number back was Verizon but no such offer. Changed code.

Received a call from this number.  Let it go to voice mail since I didn't know the number. Only part of the message was "press 0 to decline this offer".......

Def NOT Verizon. First off I have Verizon and they don't call you, unless you're on a service call with them and they are testing some things out. They don't have a sales team or anything that does cold call selling. They do everything online and thru the verizon app. THIS NUMBER IS A SCAM. Block them.

Got a call on my cell phone.  Didn’t answer and no message left.  I would never  answer calls from unknown numbers

Just checked Verizon site and could not find this number on it

sounds like a scammer is spoofing verizon's customer service number. Hey stolen ID consider that you may have been talking to the scammer, not to verizon.

Received a call from this number at 8pm. Recording saying that Verizon had selected me to receive a $50 gift card and two free months of service. The frightening part is that a few hours before while surfing legit websites on my phone, I got a pop up that said the same thing. It as one of those pop ups that you cannot get out of unless you close the web browser.

Called 2 twice, did not answer, & no message left. Blocked FUTURE CALLS

Just got a call from this number, the guy claimed to be from Verizon and is just offering me $99 credit to my bill because I am a loyal customer.  Then, he tried to ask for my Verizon pin number.  I said no thank you.  You can hear from the phone that he is calling from a telemarketing site.  It's scam to try to steal pin number.

No it's no really Verizon. It's a phishing scheme. DO NOT give them any info!!!!

Wrong! It's a phishing scam if this number comes up on your caller ID. Verizon does NOT call at weird hours or ask for info such as CC numbers or password numbers. Are you one of the scammers?
