ROBO CALL says VERIZON VIP press 1 to get $50 and 2 months free NOT,HUNG UP

They called me at 8:30 am on a Sunday day. I answered but immediately hung up because I was super annoyed the call woke me up.

Rewards for being a loyal Verizon customer and promising 2 months of free service. then requests you to input phone number and then your pin....I don't think soooooo.

This is a spam call as they spoofed a Verizon legit number. If you think that it is Verizon and they're calling you legitimately just hang up and call back on your own and they can tell you if they were trying to reach you or not. Scammers spoof company numbers all the time!

Ms "Anna Flynn" called from the Verizon Fraud Prevention department saying someone ordered an iPhone X for over $900 and is having it shipped to NJ. Told her I don't have any pending orders under my Verizon account and you can't even "charge" a phone on your Verizon phone bill. You need to pre-pay for phones when buying them from Verizon so this is a bunch of crap. I told her I obviously didn't buy the phone but started saying I don't understand why... and she hung up on me. Didn't give her any info but she didn't ask for any either. Weird. These people really need to get a real job.

How did you figure out it's spam? Curious because when I hot view Verizon account on this minute phone, that number pops up to call BUT this phone is under a friend's account.
