They're baaaa-a-a-a-ck!! After a few years of silence, the calls from these Direct Energy telemarketers have picked up where they left off. Seems like they've reactivated this old number for 2016! Receiving at least 3 calls daily . . .

I keep getting calls from these fools despite being on the Do Not Call register.
They don't even talk to you, just leave the line hanging open. What is the point of that?

The Corporate Morons at Direct Energy will NEVER get my business.

Police suggests an 'Emergency or Survival/Rape Whistle' (very high dB) & amplified over the phone !

Bell & Rogers will not block # for free & CRTC can't help if u have (or had) dealings with Direct Energy, now or in the past !
U can buy a cordless phone w callblock feature OR a Call Blocking Unit + some cell phones have blocking feature = put # in your contacts then edit that contact & there may be a Block This # in the contact options !
Providers like Bell & Rogers shud provide it for FREE but the calling company is paying them bigger $$$ then their consumer customers !!!

Sure Blue Falcon, you are either naive or you work for them.  I have no, and never had any, business with Direct Energy, yet they keep calling.  I have asked them NOT to call, but they still do.  On principle, now, i will never do business with this company.

I am on the Do Not Call list, but they do not respect that.
I have them blocked but they still try calling (my software tells me when).
Sigh. At least my phone doesn't ring now when they call.

I use a free app called "blacklist" blocks the call and shows a report on my cell phone of all the calls that were blocked,

Telemarketer. Left a message as they clearly weren't even listening well enough to know they were talking to an answering machine

I just let the calls go to the answering machine.  They never leave a message.

I never answer toll free numbers, never.  Just pick it up then hang up right away.

Sales/Marketing from Enercare, formerly Direct Energy - guess it shud b "ENER-WE-DON'T-CARE" !!!

***  this  company  IS   violating  canadian   telemarketing  rules , laws  and  regulations , so  please , if  you  get a  call from  this  # ,  contact  the   CRTC  as  soon as  possible !!!

These guys keep calling my cell, even after requesting to be put on the DNC, and registering my phone with the national DNC.

Saying im a past customer to skirt the rules is bs, i've never done business with scumbags like this.

Direct Energy at it again. Blocked!

I JUST received a call from this number ( I'm in Bowmanville, Canada ) and as usual just a hang up, I get minimum of 4 calls a week sometimes 2 or 3 a day and I'm sick of it, they even call when my wife is sleeping and she's on shift work. I spoke to a rep and told them to take me off the listing and was completely ignored and hung up on while trying to do so....sick and tired of this just going to get Bell to stop the number coming through ( get it stopped as a nuisance call )😝

I have recieved numerous calls from the sales dept at direct energy last year. I added myself on the DNC list, they still call. They have even added an additional fee on my bill that was 10.00 a month. It aparently will get me a technician to my house even faster if you pay more. I never authorized this fee nor did I even speak to anyone about this. Took a while but fee was finally removed and reinbursed back. And they still call me at least once a week. I urge everyone to check your bill, you may have a fee you have never realized was on there

This number calls repeatedly and at very unreasonable hours. Never any answer. Extremely annoying and unneeded !!!
