i have read alot of stuff on this number of people having a lot of problems i just want more information. 800-282-6882

im dealing with some of the same problems with these very rude people. i have been threatened with calls and letter about my license. i called the dmv they said the company couldn't do anything with out a court say so. these people are very hateful and just rude. one hung up on me

Supposedly a subrogation company.  Apparently they purchase insurance claims from other insurance companies and attempt to collect on them in much the same way a debt collector does.  Sometimes say they are third party collectors acting on behalf of another insurance company.  Hard to say what they really do, other than attempt to collect money from people.  Negative history on 800notes going back to 2010  .  Their favorite thing is threats to suspend your drivers license.  Of course only a judge or the DMV in your state can do that and it's not going to happen just because of some sort of civil debt matter with a collector.   This group also shows a CID of NCO .  They may be connected somehow.

They may call themselves a abrogation group but they are acting like a debt collector.

If you think someone has committed some sort of crime against someone, that person should make a complaint to the police.   It's not clear that simply being rude or abusive to someone over the phone is a crime.  If someone is in receipt of such calls, a call blocker would be in order.  Also see my entry about complaints to the proper authorities.  Police really wouldn't be involved in something like this.

       I do appreciate the answers given and do understand the inability to answer.  I still plan to if I EVER HEAR of them abusing a person 65 or above to report them to the Adult Protective Services.  And I hope all who read this will consider doing the same thing!   I believe people like the Bell Corp who are HIGHLY ABUSIVE and should face prison!   In fact I believe maybe people should contact their congress people and Senators and DEMAND laws be passed against such!  I believe it should be a FEDERAL OFFENSE for them to simply call and threaten to suspend a person's drivers license for not paying a bill!  I believe they should face a guaranteed a one to ten prison term, a hundred thousand dollar fine, plus after they get out of prison they can be sued by their victims pretty well the rest of their lives and also other than for court hearing's they will be placed under a restraining order for the rest of their lives to stay away from their victims!
                I also wonder.   Has ANY investigative journalists ever investigated Bell Corp?  If I knew of who to contact I gladly would.  Though I will wait till my situation is OFFCIALLY over!
               Back to simply blocking them.  Well I haven't heard from them for a while and I really doubt that I will!   However if they ever contact me again I don't plan to simply block them!  No I rather don't plan to answer them and rather I plan to let it go into my answering service.  Then after it is on there I plan to write down what they said.  Then I plan to make a transcript of what they said.   Why?  In case I ever have to go to court or fight them some other legal way!
               Another thing.  I really believe that they aren't following due process of law.  Where was a threat to take me to court?  If they would have done that I would have have been okay with it for I feel I have sufficient evidence to PROVE MY INNOCENCY!   I would have told them to go for it!
                   Which leads me to my most honest opinion of them.  They are not only evil, devilish people but they are also COWARDS!   Why?  Rather than taking a person to court and/or threatening to take someone to court they threaten to have your license suspended!   That shows to me the following,

                              (1) They are using psychological tactics to brake people down!

                             (2) They don't care for truth and justice.  If they did they would have took time and interviewed me to see if what the
                 facts are.  And they would have given their address and a fax number out for me to give them my facts!   I have paperwork
                 to prove my side TRUE!

                            (3) That they are COMPLETE COWARDS!   Fact:  If they weren't cowards they would have been willing to fact the
                 truth!   They would be willing to hear the other person's side KNOWING they could be WRONG!   They would be willing to
                 go to court KNOWING that the other side could very be right and that they may face the consequences of the court hearing!
                                          I really believe they are afraid to face FACTS and TRUTH KNOWING that the person they are abusing to get
                 money out of could be in the RIGHT and they in the WRONG!

                        I am one who thinks that something should be done to STOP FOREVER AND A DAY evil men like Bell Corp!  I really would like to see such IMPRISONED!!!!  They have NO ethics!
                  Remember Edmond Burke said something like, "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing!"  I would like to see something done to evil people like Bell Corp!
                   Another thing I want to clear.  I told in my first writing on this subject that I was thinking about selling stuff of my wife to clear the allledged debt(by the way I have been cleared TWICE of this debt!).  I should have said my LATE wife!   She is in Heaven now and I inherited her stuff!  I believe stealing is a sin!
                   Secondly as a Christian, a preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and a Christian Activist(I am the same Rev. Anony Moose who you read postings of in different religious and political internet writings!  The VERY SAMEONE!) I have a message to those of Bell Corp who may be reading this.  According to the Bible you must repent(Luke 13:1-5; Acts 17:30) of working for such an evil group and come out from amongst them(II Cor.6:14-7:1) and start looking for a decent job and that NOW!   Plus you must also go back to ALL of your victims and apologize(Matt.5:23&24) and offer to pay them fourfold of what you stole from them(Luke 19:1-10)!   If you don't you will split Hell wide open when you die(Mark 9:43-48; Luke 16:19-31)!
                     As Campus Preacher Evangelist Jed Smock says, "You're going to the LAKE OF FI-I-I-I-I-R-R-R-R-R-R-R-E!!!!!!!"
                    And with this I have no intention of putting anything else on this website about Bell Corp.  I do hope somepeople get ideas to report Bell Corp to the Adult Protective Services if they ever abuse your 70 year old mother by threatening to take her driver's license away if she doesn't pay them today!   Or maybe an investigative journalist will be informed to look into Bell Corp and expose them for what they are!

this is happening to me as well...they are trying to get 21000.00 dollars for a wreck that happened back in Aug 2 2015 and if i dont pay i will get my drivers liscense suspended...

this man and lady keep calling me from this number and they are saying that my licsense will be suspended if i dont pay for a claim that state farm paid..i was fully insured when my car was wrecked and that my husband wasn't on my insurance...but he was the on that wrecked it..they said i am liable for the damages which i understand that but....i haven't gotten a court order from the subrogation service that i recieved in the mail....it said that a judgment would be issued...still haven't recieved that...

The only way your license can be suspended is if a judgment is issued against it and it goes unpaid.

You need the services of a consumer law attorney.

Involved in minor accident,  police didnt and were not obligated to respond as there were no injuries. According to TX traffic law, it was clearly the other driver's fault. They tried to file claim on my insurance, which was denied.  Six months later, I start getting letters and harassing phone calls from these [***] trying to collect $4,000 for State Farm, from the lady filing on her own policy.  When I advised the Rep from Bell that my insurance deemed me to not be at fault, I was told that I didn't have insurance at the time of the accident and they would have my license revoked. These statements were 100% not true, the reps from Bell were crude, rude, condescending, and down right nasty. Two of which I spoke with had hair trigger tempers that led to them begin (I say begin because I quickly terminated the call) shouting at me.  I called my adjuster who denied the claim, he handled it. The troubling part is that State Farm knew I had coverage and still submitted this to subergoation as I didnt have insurance.  Bottoom line: If you had insurance, don't deal with them...make your agent or adjuster handle it.  If you didn't have insurance: hire a lawyer, or do your homework for your state and see what recourse they truly have against your license.  But DO NOT ALLOW THESE PHUQERS TO HARRASS OR TALK TO YOU LIKE SCUM. There is no "negotiating" with them.  The above posters are correct, these ppl arent debt collectors...debt collectors have merit, and just want less than or equal to what's owed to them.  These people are truly scum.  When I think of these hair trigger limp dicks, i think of the movie Wolf of Wall Street, but instead of a call center full of slimy brokers trying to push a losing stock, I invision these guys, shouting and yelling trying to scare people into paying State Farm's lost claims. Pure smuck.

My son was in an accident last yr and we had no insurance so the person he hit had state farm and they sent our case to Bell...they said i owe 3,290 and in order for me to make pymnts i had to come up with almost 1000.00 which i did...so that my sons license would not be suspended.  I agreed to make 100 dollar monthly pymnts til this bill was done with and I went into default last month becUse my payment was late.  Ive already paid over 2000.00 and the agent i had before quit his job there.  His name was John and was super cool.  The last 2 guys ive spoken with had no reapect and raised their voices which caused me to defend myself.  This morning i was crying becUse they handed the phone to Lisa who is the head boss i guess and she was ruder than both of them put together...she straight up told me..WELL JUST PAY YOUR BILLS AND THIS WOULDNT HAPPEN..I told her..hey..have you ever been "Late" paying a bill??? She accused me of always being late which is not true because i had worked out an arrangement with John on a hardship I had so i paid double on the next month.  My balance is also 600 more than what it should be since i paod 600 to the person in the accident and i sent my proof of receipts to Bell...they said they would credit it to my balance once i pay most of the bill.  This woman Lisa upset me how she degraded my integrity on paying this bill and haveing no respect as a human being talking to a human being..even the license dept said that wasnt right of her to talk to me that way and Lisa also said she has the right to do whatever she wants with my case so that means they will not uplift the default and my sons licemse will remain suspended til the whole bill is paid off.   What can i do about this?

These people will not stop calling!

They really suspended your license. We didn't know our insurance was out and got insurance some where else Ike a few days later. I never received any letters from them or DMV. I need to get another license what will happen if they suppended them and I didn't know they did. What will happen? How do we find out if my license is suspended?

Had the same as just about everyone else on here, but these scoundrels are calling my elderly parents and leaving them messages. Pathetic low lives.
