Received a voice messasge from Transworld Systems.  The message said that they were required by law to state they were a debt collection company and any information obtained will be used (I assume to support their claim).  I was told to call 800-291-5892 and was told to give a number (that I assume identified me? not sure).  I pay all of my bills on time and pay off credit card balances every month - so do not have any outstanding debt.  I will not call the number since I do not want to be exposed to a scam.

When I answered the phone it was a pre-recorded message that said please hold and a rep would be with me shortly and that this was an important call. I hung up the phone.

we are getting a call every 3 days from this number. when we pick up, it is either an automated call about debt collection/very important or a person asking for my husband, who is debt free. She declined to tell me the nature of the call and said it was being recorded. both he and i are debt free, but he has a very common name. I am wondering if they are just trying to reach a person who is avoiding paying debt.

idjits keep calling.  they have left one message saying they it is a financial matter; they are attempting to collect on a judgement.  nope, huh-uh, ain't so.  bottom-dwellers running a scam or being very careless about whom they contact.

I constantly receive calls from this number I answered and when a human got on the phone she informed me that I owed some past due bills and that I needed to pay them right away I asked her who the bills were for and she gave me my supposed name when I informed her I never even knew the name she said they would take my number out of the system and it was silent for approx 1 month and here we go again. Very annoying.

this call come in to my house everyday at 8:10am.  I don't know who it is.  I am sick of it.  How do I report this number to do not call.  I love to report the call.  Very angry at this point.

i will not call people back who wont tell me what the call is about. just advising me i need to call because it is important is not enough.  who are you representing? what do you want? who would you like to speak to? is this about a job? is this about a debt? what? these callers should have to provide more pertinent information or not be allowed to call anyone at all.

This number calls my office almost every day.  And, when you answer with 'Good Morning.  Thank you for calling _____________' a female recorded voice says 'thank you' and hangs up.  That's it.  I've never spoken with an actual person or ever heard more of a message than just 'thank you'.

I being having this call everyday which i tried to ignore but some times is not easy  what we need to do is that everyone of us has to contact the better business or the F B I to led then know what is going on we are in this country were we can have a privacy they invading our space by have to be living with this other pressure i believe that this people has to stop this scum.

I am receiving calls twice a day from this number on my cell phone.  I checked the number on the internet and found it to be some sort fraud callers.  Does the do not call list ever work?  I have registered, re-registered and it seems to never do any good.  I don't owe money to anyone, do not have any credit cards and there is no reason for any collection agency to be calling me.

I don’t know if this will work for all phone companies, but if you have Comcast, you can block the number with a call screening option on your phone.
To activate Call Screening dial *60 to activate this option.
If the person you want to screen just called, you will be prompted to dial #01#.
If you want to add the number to the list, have it handy and follow the instructions as prompted.
It’s a great service and they will only be able to call you once!  
If you want to stop all private calls coming in dial *77 to activate.  This will not stop Anonymous calls, but if the person calling is intentionally blocking their number, they will not get through.

By the way, these services are free to me as a Comcast customer, but again, I don’t know if they work for other companies or if there is a charge for it.

It id trans World a 3rd party collection agency....

I continue to receive these same dumb callers daily, on my cell phone.  I am so tired of this.  I don't believe the "Do not call register" is worth its time.  Seems to me, someone needs to step up to the plate and get these caller's put back in their place.

Harassment calls from a credit company for a non-existent bill. They have been informed in writing by my lawyer to cease, yet they persist.
