This is a blatant scam. It's an attempt to steal your info. Dont believe them. I just got this call asking about my health and wanting SSN and DOB. They called me by the wrong name. I didn't correct it and made up a SSN and DOB. I asked if that read what they had on file and they said yes.
Hahaha.   These Indians have to be stopped

Just got a call . They want info you never give a caller. While there may be some calls that are legit, the real govt wouldn't use unknown caller or a city  in caller id

I received a voice mail with an automated computer message this evening (at 4:50PM Friday) saying, "Hello, this is an important message for you (does not state my name) from the Health Insurance Marketplace. The reason we are contacting is because it looks like you received an error when completing a marketplace application. Please contact the Marketplace call center at 800-318-2596 and tell the representative you received this message."

Then I also received another call from the same callerID from them a minute later but they did not leave a message.  I find this suspicious for a number of reasons. 1) I used the marketplace, did not get an error, received all information I needed both online and in the US mail from them confirming this; and successfully signed up with health insurance through it 9 months ago or more (and had logged into their site many times post signing up). 2) Why is the healthcare marketplace (if it is in fact them) sending out automated messages at the end of the business day before a weekend?

I have no plans to call back this number nor give out any information to them the real marketplace doesn't already have.  It's possible the number may gave been spoofed on the callerID looking to phish.

A woman called claiming to be from the Healthcare Marketplace. She left a message stating that there had been an error with my application and telling me to call back. The number she gave IS for the Healthcare Marketplace and is the same number that appears on my caller ID, but I'm sure the number has been spoofed. The name/company on my caller ID says: Toll Free Calle.

It has been 9-10 months since I last applied on Healthcare.gov and open enrollment doesn't begin again until November, so what application is she talking about?! Obviously, it is a scam and has nothing to do with the Healthcare Marketplace. DO NOT give these people any personal information!

I received this same type of call this morning. Seemed to be a robo-voice. Said they was the ObamaCare people, and there is an error someplace and gave a number to call but I had no pen and the number wasn't repeated. My phone showed the number 800-318-2596 but I am highly suspicious since all previous communication from ObamaCare has been by emails, or emails telling me to go to the site to read a message there. Giving the telephone number only once... I can't decide if that is suspiciously unprofessional, or something so dumb that only genuine government could possibly do it.

They called twice in two days. IT WAS INDEED, THE US GOVERNMENT HEALTHCARE MARKETPLACE ADMIN CALL CENTER.  I have healthcare through this and everything is fine.  The call was to alert me as to an error on my application. Fortunately the error had already been resolved months ago, the system had just now been switched on to a setting where it caught the error code.  The agent I spoke to, saw that the error was now moot and cleared the flag.

    This call was LEGIT.

Without Obamacare, as a 55 year old male in perfect health, I was continually turned down by the corrupt oligarchy of healthcare companies because of my gender and age.  Had I been able to even GET coverage my monthly cost would have been $ 1980 a MONTH.  That is about one third of my gross monthly income.

So my family and I would have lost our home - just in order to pay for this corrupt healthcare scam that the powerful companies have forced upon us.  Now my family and I can get healthcare and NOT LOSE OUR HOME.

So all the crap about how bad this is ----  is falling on deaf ears.

This is NOT the Health Care Market Place, they do not call you! Do not answer! This is a scam trying to get your personal info. I have gotten several calls leaving messages simply saying to call a different number back and tell a representative about the message. This person has high jacked the caller ID number for Health Care Market Place. Please note even if Health Care Market Place were to call you (which they don't) they would never ask you for personal information unless you are calling them for security reasons.

I also received multiple automated computer messages saying, "Hello, this is an important message for you (does not state my name) from the Health Insurance Marketplace. The reason we are contacting is because it looks like you received an error when completing a marketplace application. Please contact the Marketplace call center at 800-318-2596 and tell the representative you received this message."  Since it sounds like a scam,  instead of calling the number, I logged on to my Healthcare Marketplace online account and there were no new messages and no errors reported.  If there was a problem, I think my account on the official site would note it.

I got the call stating something was wrong as well. I looked it up here and saw that some said it was good and some said it was bad. So I called the number back by dialing it and it was an error on their part. My call was 100% real call. They said sorry I got the call and marked it down so they don't call again.

Have gotten a single call every day this week from this number. Today I finally got a voicemail from a recording saying I received an error when completing my application and I need to contact. I applied back in February or March and have had my health insurance coverage since then. Nothing has changed so I'm a little suspicious of the call. Until I receive something in writing I'm not going to provide information.

I got the same robo-call.  I get my insurance through an insurance broker, so I called him.  He said that if there was a problem I would receive a letter from the Health Care Marketplace and not a call.  I trust him.

I received a few calls from this number and decided to call it back.  It is the Health Insurance marketplace and the reason they were calling me was because I signed up last year and had a bunch of errors on there website.  For each error I got they were auto calling me - at least that is what the guy said.  It is the Govt Insurance Marketplace calling you for whatever reason not a solicitor or telemarketer.  They will ask for your name, phone, social, and state to verify your identity - give it or not I am not telling anyone what to do but the calls were legit for me.

This is a legitimate call from the Federal Insurance Marketplace, it's a reminder that the open enrollment period has started and you need to look at the plans for next year. It also says that they will be sending something in the mail that lays out the plans.
