- JoeBoo replies to BluedogThis the case for me as well. I wish AT&T entries on my bill didn't "look" fraudulent. What a waste of time. (>,<)
- AT&T Customer Service replies to StarThis is the main number for AT&T Mobility, formally Cingular Wireless. It is a general customer service number.
- dsFound a 20 minute call on my son's cell phone from this number. Ridiculous. When doing a google search on the number, it displays ATT
- MeSo I ordered 3 phones on the AT&T website and paid the necessary charges of 123.00 for 2 phones (1 was free) etc. The phones came in 2 weeks later already activated. We have been using our phones for 3 weeks now, to find out they were disconnected today. My husband is a cross country truck driver and is gone now, we can not communicate. I called AT&T and they told me that my effing bill was 1800.00!!! they are charging me 500.00 deposit for each phone! no where did it say online or in my invoice that there was going to be a 500.00 deposit for each phone. I HATE THIS COMPANY

- pcGlad I found this post. Have AT&T and 9.99 charge for "Cool Walls" appeared on son's line from merchant called REDCIRCLE. Assumed he made a purchase, but he didn't remember doing so. Went to att.com/directbill and found it was for a monthly automatic-renewal subscription to MBLOX. Canceled immediately. Glad I found it in first billing cycle. Will definitely call AT&T tomorrow for refund. Also will add purchase block to all lines.
- SharonI don't even HAVE ATT and I got two calls just not from this number!
- bulliemom replies to Star| 1 replyThe number 800-331-0500 is customer service with ATT cell phone.
- Sean Moran replies to Robin Tolg, Esq.Since I use my iphone for business and there is alot of usage on my phone, the phone bill is 15-20 pages long so I never scrutinized the bills. However I happened to come to the office early this morning and reviewed my bill and noticed charges of $30.72 regarding the Wireless Detail portion of my bill. I then found I was being billed $9.99 each plus tax for a subscription Cylon LLC & SendMe Inc. I immediately called AT&T and cancelled both subscriptions and they said they would credit my account but could not explain who the merchants were but only said that the charges are usually related to a music or text or ringtone download. After looking back on my bills, I realized I have been getting charges from these 2 merchants since 11/29/08 and the total came to $140.92. I will pursue getting reimbursed from AT&T since I never used either of these services but if you require any additional info from me to pursue your class action suit, please let me know. Thank you.
- AT&T Rep replies to Anonnyy!I work for AT&T and can advise that dialing 800 331 0500 should not use your use your minutes. If you dial this number and your detailed billing shows that your minutes were used for the call, then you should dial 611 and let a customer service rep know and they can give you those minutes back.
- Jon| 4 repliesThis actually is AT&T cell phone bill collect division. Nothing crooked, scammy, or phishy at all. It's just that they have lousy people working the phones that's all.

- RoxI just received a message from 888-331-0550 which was an AT&T representative calling to activate my new phone from AT&T. I ordered a phone and service from them 2 weeks ago but didn't receive the phone within 5 days so I called to cancel the order but they sent the phone anyway. I have called several numbers trying to speak with someone regarding this because they charged my credit card but I am always put on hold for over 25 minutes each time. This call was to investigate why I haven't yet activated my phone.

- Mom in NJ replies to ARI just had to call AT&T to remove the same thing from my teenage son's phone. I thought he bought something, but he said he never did, and I believed him.
We also have a family plan.
Something should be done about these scams!!

- DonFIllegally calling my cell phone despite Federal call blocking signup.
I am being charged and should be reimbursed before I call the Federal regulatory agency - kimbaI never answered a call from this 800 number. Now on my T-Mobile bill this month I was charged on, 7/2/09 @ 9:41am, $9.99 for "Premium Services". The service provider is listed as Cylon LLC (never heard of them) and the description is noted as 38146GamerData 8883516703. Have no idea what this was for. Googled Cylon LLC and ended up here and thanks to these posts I am aware of the scam and will take action to have the charge removed. Needless to say it infuriates me that scams like this happen. I all for a lawsuit against whoever is behind this.
- ducetruthBoyfriend had a call from this number late last night. It is from AT&T Mobile services. Turns out his daughter had run up $1500.00 in long distance fees in 3 weeks. If AT&T had not called, we still would not know. The daughters phone is suspended so she won't run up the bill further. My opinion is THANK YOU for calling my boyfriend and saving him from higher bills! You might want to talk with AT&T to be sure it's not something like that on your bill too.

- BetsyA charge of $321.36 showed up on my Visa Card charges. I have no idea what this is about, but obviously it is some sort of scam.
- former at&t service rep replies to Jon| 2 repliesMaybe if the reps did not have to put up with mean, hateful, arrogant, self-centered, selfish, sometimes really stupid customers who think that the world revolves around their stupid cell phones they might not be so bad. If I had to hear one more time from someone "my kid does not even know how to use the internet so these charges are wrong" or "you have to turn my cell phone back on because I have such and such medical or whatever other problem" or " my kid is in school and has to have his/her cell phone so you need to turn it back on" or "I don't understand why you would would turn my cell phone off when I am only 3 months past due" I was going to scream. First your kid knows how to use the internet. Second, a cell phone will dial 911 even if it is disconnected so don't give me the medical excuse and besides many people lived for many years with various medical problems and no cell phones. Third, I and many other people grew up and went to school without cell phones and guess what we survived. and Finally, the company that provides your cell service has the right to turn your phone off if you are one day past due. Read your contracts people. Sorry if I offended anyone. Don't get me wrong not all of the people that I spoke with were like this. Many were very nice and took responsibility for their cell phone bills and understood that to avoid suspension of service they need to make payment. If you are like this then thank you for making mine and other rep's jobs easier because believe me it is very hard to get cussed out 8-10 hours a day 5 days a week. For those who this does apply to, grow up and take some responsibility because the world does not revolve around you or your cell phone.
