Caller ID displayed Echostar. I got a call fr them a few years ago and I knew it was a telemarketer. When the caller said he wanted to upgrade my Dish network, I was ready. I said he has called McDermott's Memorial Funeral Home and that all of our current residents are resting and not interested in the latest package deal. Caller hung up. My advice is not to get angry and get your blood pressure raised. Play their game. Keep BSing them because they have to limited time to stay on the line and get the financial data.  Do not call doesn't work much as was pointed out in a recent WSJ article. Telemarketers will spoof another number tomorrow. Beware,!

This number is already blocked, but I had a little free time to have some fun.  Guy with heavy accent started his spiel when I interrupted him and yelled at him that I don’t have the time right now to talk to him.  I was just called by Windows Support that my WINDOWS computer has viruses.  I have to get back to the IRS because they and the police are coming to take me to the “Magistrate” and filing lawsuits over tax felonies.  There are many more callers that I have to deal with to get my free back brace and knee brace; a new free alarm system, a free cruise and a new warranty for my car that covers 100% of everything with no deductible!!!  I don’t have any time to talk about Dish or Direct TV or Comcast or anything else at this time!!  Or until I can talk to Rachel about lowering my credit card interest rate.  Sorry!!
He tried to over talk me and I did not stop my script—he then cursed me out and hung up!  Maybe I’ll have a few minutes again next time they call.  I will try and sell them some property in the US—Everglades for instance!  Or maybe they can use some 8 track tapes!!

Received a call from 800-333-3474 at 10:15 am CDT  from someone from India saying they were from Dish TV wanting to upgrade my receiver and asked me to turn on my TV and the receiver, push the Manual button to give them the unit information. This was a Scammer using the Dish TV number.

Called me and asked for my receiver number - told me that I would lose programming if not - The number is spoofed on the ID because this number was a real Dish Network Number - BUT - I just had my receiver replaced like a week ago with all new equipment - So I google and I find tons of scammy stuff on here - worst part is that I couldn't find an email address to send a notification to Dish Network about it - I always try to report scams to the company misrepresented.

Recd. Call from a male "leman" who had a middle eastern accent, told me my tv box had expired and he would reconnect it for $100.00. Asked me to turn on my tv. Said he was in denver.  After several minutes of conversation i told him i was blind and had no tv. I told him he was a scammer and he was going to hell for lieing to people. He admitted to being a christian "penticostal" and that he got $10.00 dollars from the $100.00 which they charged to peoples credit card. Wasn't able to get the name of the company he worked for but he said there were about 100 people using telephones calling people. Told him to get a job where he could help people.  He said he knew i lived in t......... Mt and that he would come to see me.  Told him i would introduce him to my 6 foot 8 sighted brother ted who took care of me. After 15 minutes of my ranting about him going to hell he hung up. Hey i'm old, a retired sheriff and i have a lot of time to talk on the phone thus, scamming works both ways but mine is free.

I got a call from this number at 7:00 a.m. Quite unnerving!

Got a call a few mins ago, didn't answer. No msg left. Apparently S - O - S as above.

Abandoned call at 6:16 AM

We have received several calls from this number. We let them go into voice mail. They never leave a message.  Based upon the enormous number of complaints, one would hope and expect the authorities to take appropriate action.

Called 3 times in last two days.  1st time he told me my computer needed something.  I told him not possible. He said some incredibly rude and vulgar things and hung up. Next call at 11pm, then this morning at 8.  They are now blocked.  Hope DISH doesn't ever try to call me legitimately....they will have to call from a different#.

Thay called at 5:30 AM !!!   Blocked number I have never dond busness with them. The FCC needs to remove there licence.

Just now called again at 1008AM Tuesday.  Caller ID said TOLL FREE CALLER. I have it blocked so the phone just rang once and then disconnected the call.

The number is DISH Network - however, it is being spoofed.  I talked to DISH Fraud department- they advised 800-333-3474 is an inbound number only - no outgoing calls will ever come from that number. If you get a call from that number it is a scam.

800-333-3474 called my cell phone on Feb. 10. I didn't answer it and they left no message. Despite the efforts of above posters, they're still calling from this phone number.

Scam call. From India. Said they wanted to talk to me about my satellite TV (do not have). Probably spoofing real DISH phone number. After I told the caller I was not interested, he no lie, ended the call by saying "I love you". Extremely odd.

From the reports here sounds like a Dish satellite scam. I do (unfortunately) have Dish TV service, but certainly there is no reason for them to call me at 7:08 AM on a Sunday!
