Today I received call from Dish Network today. BEFORE 9 AM

Thanks everybody for sharing. You confirm my suspicions.

I got 3 phone calls within a hour from a guy saying he was from Dish and that he needed a credit card to get $199.00 to pay for a upgrade or my service ( which i didnt have) or it would be disconnected and some one would be out to collect my box!, I havent had dish in over 1 year!!!!! He was so persistent and demanding that I had dish, I had to threaten his life to stop calling me!!! I called Dish to confirm my account was closed.  They said they are still out there! DONT GIVE THEM ANY INFO OR CREDIT CARDS

just got a call from this number saying my dish boxes needed upgrading due to satellite position changes.  long story short he ended up asking for a physical address, a pin number, and the last 4 of my SS.  all of this to bring up my new file....  scam

Because I was expecting a call from UPS so they could lie to me again about losing a shipment, I answered this call. What I got was about 8 seconds of dead air. I hung up.  Now I'm here, telling all of you.  This is my life now.

Got a call from this number at 8:30 Sunday morning from a person with a heavy Indian accent (could hear other voices in the background) saying he was from Dish Network (I am a Dish customer) advising they were having to change the position of a satellite and needed some information from my set box.  Although the number is the Dish service number, no one from that company would ever make a call asking your to give them info from your set box - they already know it!!  I hung up, after seriously considering to suggest he might want to take a trip to a very hot place.....

5:50 AM? Seriously? I thought that there was some sort of prohibition on calling this early (PST). Thanks everyone for letting me know who this was as I didn't pick up! And I'm not a Dish customer!

call came at 8:45 am today - a Saturday.  I do not have a Dish so it was not tempting to answer.   I stopped the call on my landline.   Really irritating to get these calls!!

Got a call from this number this morning, they did not leave a message, I GIS'shed it and looks like a scam call.
Blocked it.

Telemarketing calls before 8 AM are illegal.

Unwanted calls from 800-333-3474. They call several times a week, sometimes a day. I am on the "Do Not Call List" and don't pick up. No message is ever left on the answering machine--only a hang-up. This is yet another robo call that doesn't care about the Do Not Call List.

Saw that it was a "800 service" and knew it was a telemarketer or scam call. I picked up to tell them to stop calling but the guy in the call center was speaking to this cronies in another language and didn't realize I had picked up. So when he said "Hello, hello?" I was silent and waited until he hung up.

just got a call from this Number 1800-333-3473 first they said they were from dish then AT&T about my account, I said what about my account?  he rattles off the account # my phone # he called me on and my home address, I said what name do you have on the account it took him a bit but he had my name so I said what do you need? he says you have an over due balance of $217.00, I said so exactly how long do your records show me as a
dish customer with this account, he says 18 mnths. I said sir this is a scam right you want to bully me into paying this 217.00 when I have never dome business with Dish or AT&T hr says well maybe someone stole your identity let me connect you to our fraud department  and click he hung up.  when will they stop.

Upgraded programming, just pay $199. Your bill will go down $30/month for the rest of your life.

Falsely claims to be Dish network.  Clearly a sales company.

Claims "Do Not Call List" expired, when the law states numbers have no expiry.

Called me this morning but I have them blocked. Actually I've had them blocked since October of 2016. They still call every now and then. They're clearly a SCAM....

Ignoring do not call

Called my house at 3am & woke my 90 year old mother. Never left a msg on answering machine. I'm not a happy camper.

Look folks, this is a spoofed number to make you think it’s coming from DISH network. DISH does not call from Nigeria or India, and they don’t have time to call you 180 times in one day. They certainly won’t swear at you and they aren’t going to tell you that they will keep calling you just to tick you off. We have DISH Network and for the most part are happy with it. I’m getting these calls as well, and can assure you they aren’t from DISH. If you call the number back you probably WILL reach DISH because the jerks that are calling you have spoofed the DISH number.
