I have received 20 calls from your Dish network representative despite informing that I do not want to receive any call and take me off the calling list. My number is registered at donotcall list. If I will receive one more call I will report to authorities. Despite that am still receiving phone calls from dish network. Please take some action so that they stop harassing people. The phone number shows on caller id is (800) 333-3473.

what a real scam let me tell you a story : AND THIS IS 100% REAL  I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF SOMEONE OUTS IS BEEN ON THIS SITUATION BEFORE AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AFTER THEN . AND TANKS FOR TAKEN SOME OF YOUR TIME TO READ THIS .

I call dish ,the number on T.V.  which is 1 888 620-0802  and then  an answer machine is tanking you for calling to dish ,then is going to ask you if  English or Spanish  press 1 or 9 , after that  ill ask you for,  press 1 for schedule installation  , or 2 for new customer ,after that you got transfer to customer service , then you explain  that you want new service and then they transfer you to a sales department  and here it come my mistake : they ask me for my card number and the expiration date  and my SSN to run my credit  to see if i'm approved , thy said I was but for only 2 dvr's and a low price for 24.99 plus tax don't  realy remember but I know it was 35.00 dlls total w/ 180 channels and 3 month free of hbo and other good channels  , so I told the guy I don't want it ! , ill call back if I change my mind ( the guy name was samuell)  and he offer me to call hem directly to a number (915) 298-5511 wich is on el Paso tx I guess , after 20 minutes I received a alert on my online mobile account they took  1.00 dollar from my account without my consent , I know is not to much but think about it for example  if they received 1,000,000 calls equal  1,000,000 dlls . what a scam .or about if that's only to start and later they drain your account, or they buy equipment under your name to sell it I heard about this with the installers  and you be ending  owning , then is going to your credit  who knows , the thing is that I call back to (915)-298-5511 and somebody answer the phone and I hear a lot  of noises like music , and tv program and some voices on the background like they are actually in a house not even on a office ,I couldn't hear so I told the guy I need to speak to samuell ,so he pass me over to samuell and I told this guy about the situation and ask hem about the charge on my account , and he couldn't give me a reasonable explanation  , first he told me  that they didn't  took the dollar of my account that  was my bank ,I told hem I talk to my bank and they don't recognize the transaction because it was only nonsense  letters on the description  like QIRWMZY ETC ETC NO COMPANY NAME , the only thing understandable it was NY which is "New York" maybe they play with our money on the wall street ,  investing to make money out of our money before they give it back to as  who knows ? , because that guy told me ,the second lie : that it was the dish company  system retaining the dollar to probe that my account is active and he cant give me my dollar back,  that is going to be  on hold for 3 days only !, yea wright! he never told me nothing about  holding a 1.00 dollar  with out my consent ,  he supposed to run my credit to see if I qualify for a good promotional  package  no to extract money for my account , after that he want to hang up the phone on me because he was very busy ! it was very rude ! so we end the phone call , and I call my bank and and I find  out , that transaction was like an authorization for them to make monthly charges or any kind of charges  into your account is like given permission to those persons to manage your money , the bank told me to way till it clears to find out who is making those charges , but I guess is going to be to late by then , im very uncomfortable whit this situation I cant even sleep !

this is the best part : I told a friend to call and other guy name Luis Gausin answer our call on sales department and  ask  my friend the same questions, so he give all false info,  by the end he couldn't  access the account of course because it was false information so Luis Gausin the sales associate ask my friend for an other credit card, and my friend told hem that  he need to call back because he cant find the other credit card so the associate Luis Gausin give hem I number to call back which is (915)298-5511 and told hem to ask for Luis Gausin , so it was the same story but guess what , ? we didn't call back and on 30 minutes he call back from a different number and this number match some of the complains above  which is :         1(800)333-3474   is really weird ,  so THAT NUMBER IS CONECTED TO THE   (915)298-5511 AND   1(888)620-0802  any cases similar to this or   any body know what's the best  thing to do on this type of situation ?    I really don't know what to think , but I don't want to wait until some body drain my account  please some  answers or advises please .

Someone named Brian called from this number saying he was with Texas Power. He called my business and I was not interested. Kept talking so I hung up. He called me back 4 times, rude, telling me if I hung up again I would be "in trouble"
Very harassing.

This is a "call" from Dish Network stating that we are late on our payment and that we will get a $7 late fee if we do not pay. Haven't had Dish in over a year, so this number is obviously a scam. Don't give them your personal information!

I received a call from 8003333474, claiming they were "National Grid Electric" and that i was scheduled to have  my service terminated for non payment. I knew this was a scam because i do not owe anything. After questioning the person the just hung up on me.
This was the second attempt made to get money from me.

I reported the number to the local police and National Grid.

this number calls everyday!!  I never answer knowing it is telemarketer

We are on the do not call list, have never dealt with dish and yet still get unwanted calls from them.  Last night I did answer the phone and asked the woman how they got my phone number and told her that we are on the do not call list.  She grumbled something and then hung up without answering my question.

People should report this number to the police.

The police have nothing at all to do with telephone scams. You seriously think that your local police department have nothing better to do than talk to you about an annoying telephone call? You think anyone at the local police department knows anything about spoofing caller ID or how to track down one of these idiots?
If there was an actual crime committed here you still would not get any assistance from anyone until the fraud was up over $100,000. There is no agency empowered to do anything about this.
Don't answer calls from numbers you don't recognize and move on with your life!

They called my work cell twice in a minute.  I only give out this number for business, which a dish or grid network would certainly not be a part of.  I don't pick up unknown numbers, and it sounds like they may be going by multiple names.

I haven't been receiving any telephone calls but rather emails. I have been receiving them for months but have just been deleting them. These emails are going straight to my in box and not to my SPAM. These emails state that if I didn't request this service to call this 800 number that everyone is complaining about. Can see it's a good thing that I didn't follow thru and call that number. It is easier just to delete their email than to put up with their annoying calls.  

Received call.  Didn't answer.  They didn't leave a message.  The caller ID says Dish Network

I can not pay my bill I hurt

Got a call from this number today and they said they were from comcast! I've been scammed from someone inside comcast before and this honestly sounded exactly like him, so I automatically said no and he was like "ok" and hung up. What kind of tell a marketer doesn't try to persuade you...so it was obviously a scam so I called them back to find out it was Dish...my parents had dish I've never had dish whilst living on my own I don't even have cable just Netflix so how the hell are they getting my info?

I know this is going to sound like a conspiracy theory but I honestly think these companies are working together and running scams through the business. Such [***]!

Cancel your card and get a new one tell the bank to never authorize these transactions and file a fraud claim against them. You need to go into the bank and talk to one of the tellers that's the best way to handle this. Tell them you got scammed and they now have your information if worst comes to worst open a new account and terminate your old one

they called, and I screamd (ITS DONE, BUT THERES BLOOD EVEYWERE!!!) they didn't call back....lol!

I received a call telling me that he is from Dish and also from New Jersey.  He wanted my pin number, and was reading my mailing address and the amount in my last bill. He wants me to upgrade my receiver and he wiling to give $25.00 on my bill but I will have put a security deposit of $160.00. I told him that this is a scam and calling the dish network directly.

Have received 3 calls in last 2 days about my "installation".  last call said "they would be out between 8 and 12:00 to install my new DISH system, and someone over the age of 18 had to be present the entire time. It could take from 1 to 5 hours. Please secure all pets"
Very realistic voice- but i have NEVER contacted them for any service.

What kind of scam is htis??
