DISH Network phone number.

269-768-2291 call came.  I decided to follow through.  800-333-3474 number was given to me by the person at the 269 #. To bypass automated response I continued until a person answered.  After being advised that my number was on the Do Not Call list he said, "Is this the first time you have called?"

I replied that it was.  He then added "Everytime you call you will be called again."

Dish network. They are useing a rolling number. CID said 801-998-8159. Person who owns this number was unaware that it was being used by Dish Network. (I called number back) I also called the corp office at 800-333-3474 and informed them that this was illegal and ask to have my number removed for the fouth time. I will be filing a formal complaint.

calls are being placed to a residential service every 5 minuites (over 180 calls today)to an elderly woman who is bed-riden. Calls are displaying that they are originating from a local Hospital

Today I received another recorded call from Dish Network today. This company calls me numerous times each week, and several times I've asked their operators to take me off their list.

This time, I spoke with a guy named Ryan, who said he was signing me up for DishDVR Advantage at $49.45 per month with the first month free.  He gave me the following number to call for customer service: (800)333-3474.

When I told Ryan I did not want anything from Dish Network except to not ever call me again, and that if they did I would report them to Attorney's General office, he said "Well, I am going to [***] with your information".  That is a quote.

I just received a call on my cell from an 866 number that I "ignored" to VM. The call was sent "confirming" that a tech will be arriving tomorrow for installation between 12 and 5. It then went on to state "if this is in error please call 800-333-DISH(3474)" to change the "appointment." There are several problems with this:

1) I have not ordered sat-tv at this time or any previous time.
2) I would need pre-approval from my landlord and local FD in order to have the dish attached to my building, and the super would've informed me first if it was approved.
3) I NEVER EVER give my cell number to any business since I am on a basic plan, and do not need extra calls outside N&WE.
4) That cell # is on the DoNotCall registry; therefore, that fact along with #3 above will preclude any "service" calls from any vendor to the cell.

Received 5 calls this week from dish network with the same message as Paul and other posters above. Recorded Call coming from 866-668-8047. Also another man who sounded like a Nigerian (very heavy accent)left message saying he was the technician. This call came from 347-539-9351.
Sounds like a scam to et credit card info.

got a call from them today, will be reporting to the AG as i'm on the do not call list.

ive received a couple calls myself that i let go to vm if i dont know num i dont answer but they say that i am bein charged because i never returned the equipment and if i call they will send me return labels so i can send equip back and remove the charges i have never had dish and they dont even say in vm who they are

dish network using this customer service (800-333-3474) is some kind of fraud my credit card co .just alerted me.......so they are sending me a form to fil out to investigate them......still dont know how they got my c.c. # to check my credit .......... so be real carefull when dealing with dish netywork

I received a call from them on my cell phone after 7:00 pm.  A couple of years back, I had talked to the company about these calls.  The person calling me said that they did not have to respect the do-not-call list because I had an Indian name.  But the company said that this was an independent company making the calls.  They promised they would take care of it; and they did for a couple of years.  When I explained  this today, the guy just hung up.  

You can't win.  Just boycott Dish TV.  Get Cable.

I have been getting a few calls on my cell from this number with no voice mail. My cell # is on the "do not call" registry. After reading the above posts I am reluctant to call them back and tell them to desist.

I received 3 calls 1/2 hour apart from this number - I did not answer any since I did not know the number.  But I do have an appointment set up with DISH tomorrow and did receive a call from the tech telling me he'll be here between 12-5.

they are now advertising on Dish channel 349 OFFER for an exclusive offer to experience other premium movie channels at no additional cost.  
After reading the older posts above, what do you think?  A deal or another trap?

Spaced out on the number when I saw it pop up but as soon as I was it on google I remembered the ...3474.  Yes this is dish network.  I have dealt with them form almost 4 years.  I have also called this number directly.  This number is 100% authentic and you can call it safely.  We LOVE our dish network and find their customer service and follow up EXCEPTIONAL.  I hope this helps clear anyone's confusion.

SEVERAL CALLS TODAY WITH NO ONE ON THE OTHER END AND NO MESSAGE LEFT.

I have received 8 calls from 800-333-3474 this morning alone on my Google Voice number.  Pretty F*CKING annoying when I use that number for business.  Wish I knew how they got the number since I never give out this number.  I only use it to make calls to home office in Canada.

Never had Dish Network and also have never called them for anything.


you know what.. now that I think about it.  the ONLY time I have used this number other than calling my office was when I called to cancel my DirecTV.  Now that is weird.
