I Called this 1-800-333-3474 and it's telling me that this number is no longer in sevice so no i don't know what to belive aftr reading all these comments now i'm scared to even bother caling this number. i'm really confused. Are they even for real or is it a scam.

I received 5 calls on 4/13/12 from Dish Network 800-333-3474 . . . . the first call came at 2:41, the next at 2:42, the next at 2:43, then again at 2:46 and finally at 2:48.

This is pure abuse !!!!!!!

I called this  number and the person picked up and there was an unbusiness like conversaion and laughter going on in the background - I asked "where is this dish  office located?  They hung up on me.  Therefore, I am extremely suspicious about the company and the service they claim to provide.

This is Dish Network.  If you have recently cancelled service you can expect this call.  To stop the telemarketing calls, postal mail and Email you need to call 1 800 333 3474.  Dial 1 for english and stay on the line.  It will prompt you about 3-4 times but ignore, eventually it will send you to a live agent.  make a note of time and date.

The number just called, I found the number here and it look very familiar, I called  and a recording said dish network. punch 9. A man said the call was from dish reminding me of my appointment for tomorrow and said that I don't have a pin number and I could use the last four digits of my ssn. I told him I don't use my ssn for anything. He said ok you can use the four digits of your phone numbers, I said ok and he said if there is anything I can help you with? I said no and and bye, and he said bye.

My old tv went out saturday and I bought 2 tvs to replace the old ones, after they are installed I will not be answering my phone from them with their sales pitch.

Someone from this numer called and said my friend could get additional upgraded service on Dish for $360.00. I would have to got to WalMart and buy a money card and then let them know the number and PIN. Once that was done, they would upgrade the service. My friend did that, but found out later it was a scam. She called Dish and they said her bill was current, and that they had not contacted her about upgrading service. So, it appears that someone is spoofing Dish's number for a scam. If you get called, hand up and call Dish yourself.

Do not call me

I have been getting calls from this number atleast 6 or 7 times a day. when I redialed it goes to Dish and they said they don't know anything about the call. these are indian guys on the other side. I have reported that to Dish and they are not aware of anything and they said they will put a note not to call.
But keep getting it. Some other company is using Dish number and trying to get the information. hope some one will correct it.

Back late June, 2012, DISH removed AMC programming from my service and has continued to charge me same rate (except for a BS temporary 'credit') which will expire in a few months.  I complained to them vigorously via phone and email AND filed complaint with BBB and FTC.

Now, they call me day in and day out.  There is a rude person who leaves me 'canned excuse' messages on voice mail and now they just hang up.  They've sent me BS letters with excuses about the AMC issue.  I'm looking for fire power so I can get a class action law suit against them and DISH knows it.  

In the meantime, our DISH service has had some unusual issues, where channels don't come in like usual, or record stuff we've not set up to record.  Hummm.  Based on the comment that someone at DISH said "...I'm going to f... with your account..." makes me really concerned.  DISH is looking for a lot of trouble from consumers and the law.  WATCH OUT DISH!  We're coming to getcha.

got a call saying that I needed to return equipment.  I've never had DISH!!!!  I called the no. 800-333-3474 and finally found out that my daughter used my cell to get DISH then she cancelled. Now they are calling me and I am sick of it.

These guys have been annoying me royally, they call any time, inclusing middle of night, my kids nap times, and when I told the guy I am going to report them, he is questioning me "Is this how you talk" as if he is my grandfather to teach me how I need to talk. I called dishnetwork and they told me answer the call and tell them not to call. What nonsense is this?

received call saying i owed.. never had a contract or equipment

They are calling me trying to collect from someone named Gain. They wouldnt take my phone number out of the system, and ran about 20 min's off my phone.

They have posted a 150 .oo bill on my credit report that I don't owe!!! I returned all the equipment on time and made sure the contract was up ! I'm very upset and disputing the charges but they will not remove it off my credit report ,to say the least I don't owe the charges ! I will never use dish again and my family and friends won't either !

This is a pure scam service continuously harassing claiming they are Dish network representative. The call actually originates from India!

Just received 4 calls from this # 800-333-3474.  This first time, the caller told me he loved me, I said excuse me, he repeated i love you.  I hung up.  He called right back.  I answered and the same called told me "i want to f@^& you"  I hung up.  The third time the same # called, I picked up & hung up.  The 4th time, i had my male boss answer and the caller just hung up.

Called at 9:42 pm and I let go to voicemail.
