called my home phone today (Sunday), no message. If they are a business they really need to rethink their concept of right and wrong.

Called my work and left a "message" for me, didn't say who they were or what it was about.

I believe this is a call-back number from Straight Talk cellular telephone service (which does business with Walmart).  If you call them and their wait queue is long, they offer to give you a call-back later.  I opted for that, and about 30 minutes later, I got three calls from this number.  But when I answered, there was no one at their end, and within several seconds, the calls were terminated at their end.  Very annoying.

Same here - waiting for call back from ST and nobody on the other end - frustrating !

Good to know this stuff.  My friend is trying to get me to switch to Straight Talk, but I've resisted.  Now I see if they do business this way it's a good thing I resisted!

Have no idea who this is!  If it is, indeed, "Straight Talk", don't know why they would be calling us on a land line, especially since we have no business dealings with them.  They let phone ring for over twenty times before giving up.  Once again, we do not answer unknown numbers.

Just called my cell. I have Verizon...not Straight Talk. Don't know why they would be calling.

Number called my cell first I hit ignore button then a text was sent to my cell & @ that same time they were calling my home phone  caller id read 800 service. Seriously!  Do they really think I'm gonna answer?  They r not only annoying  but duh !  Senseless

I got a call from this number on my mobile about 2 minutes after finishing a Live Chat with Straight Talk where I was trying to port this same number over from AT&T. Both time it disconnected before the 2nd ring (before I could accept either call). Not sure why they would call me since they addressed all of my questions during the Live Chat, but I can confirm the connection with Straight Talk.

just called and said they wanted to speak to "him"  who is that... guy could barely speak english.... asked what co he was with... an international co he said... i hung up.......... very annoying

It is from Tracfone.  It has to do with changing phones.

I called back. It was Straight Talk and they were calling about the status of an open ticket.

Got 2 calls this am from this number with no message and no one on when I answered the call. We are trying to get connected to Straight Talk Thru Walmart so perhaps it has to do with that. Wallmart is only 5 miles away so will visit them this morning as they have better access to Strait Talk then we do. Disgusting that they work this way--like so many businesses we have dealt with the past few months--not good connection, when they do, either fast talking or not good English so you don't know what they want or calls with no message. Guess I am getting too old to deal with all this stuff.

It's Straight Talk phone service, and they follow up. They're aggressive. They want your business. They've got a reliable, cheap monthly service -- $45/mo with 3 gigs of data.  They're willing to call you to complete the transaction. Yeah, some of their boiler room people are from India. So what?

You were never going to go with Straight Talk if they did not call, so calling you is wise on their part. If you get butt hurt cuz a business wants to give you a flaming good deal, well then tightly hug your high-priced service, who is so sweet to you that they never bother to call and see if you're satisfied with their fantastic $80/mo.

I like Straight Talk's offer, and I like their business plan.
