- TamaraIt's not Bell, it's some scammer impersonating Bell to get your personal info. I answer, I listen, I hang up and call a known number for whatever the impersonated company is only to get the answer of "we have no record of contacting you". Report the bad numbers for fraud. I know my bill is a little late, but I get e-mails and texts about it, not phone calls.
- Caller: "Bell Finance"
- Call type: Debt collector
- averageman604this number called me too, says from the US, waited 30 seconds of silence, then someone comes on, says my name completely wrong like i am the foreigner, then demands all my personal information before explaining who they are, i asked, may i ask who is calling, he refused to answer until i provided him all my personal info, and when i refused he rudely hung up on me.
thank god cell phones can block numbers directly now - Rhonda replies to SelahPIt's a scam. They don't even ask the security questions to make sure it's you. And all my bills are paid in full long before they are due. I have friends that have never been with bell getting these calls saying they owe bell.
- Theklore replies to Just Waiting For My Contract To End!It doesn't matter which carrier your with, they're all the same....
- StevenbotwonI had 1-800-361-2613 call me twice while I was at work, I wasn't able to answer. That number did call back one more time, I was able to answer it. I accepted the call and then they hung up. So I looked the number up and it was Bell Mobility calling. Probably about a late payment. I just thought it was odd that once I was able to answer they hung up on me. Has this happened to anyone else?

- MaryI have a work phone thru Telus and a personal one thru bell and BOTH phones have been getting calls fr "Telus Mobility" they don't ever leave messages and call relentlessly even though on further investigation I can see my bills are paid well in advance.
I just started telling them no it wasn't me n to not call back ... That seemed to work.- Caller: Telus
- Call type: Debt collector
- Kristy replies to KristyThis [***] won't quit. They've been calling me practically daily now. -_-
- Not bellThis is not Bell.
They are impersonating Bell, trying to get your information. Just add them to your block list if you have a smartphone. Otherwise, block the number some other way.- Caller: NOT BELL

- AnonI've gotten about 8 calls in the last 48 hours and it just hangs up after a second.
- AnonThey've resulted to facetiming my iPad!
- AnonI've had this number call me over 12 times in 48 hours, at first I didn't answer but when I was getting woken up at 6am even after I blocked then I had no choice and after answering 3 times they just hang up. Now they done the same thing to me as Snoopy and re-routed all of my calls (and my f***ing voicemail for Christ's sake) to "Bell Mobility".

- Call type: Telemarketer
- RickNo one on the other end ever. Phoning office land line number. It may be a VoiP spoofed number and not really Bell. Trick people into revealing private/confidential information like credit card number, or other personal information. Office land line is Telus here. According to other 411 sites, this is a U.S. based owner number, which leads me to believe the number is spoofed to a real one attempting to appear legitimate. Why would Bell call a Telus customer for overdue payments?
- joe replies to maddyYes it does if it's the bill for that phone
