Not only is this fraudulent but you also have people on this site and others making false claims that it is legitimate.

Someone just called from this number about fraudent purchases on Michael Robinson's credit card.    I didn't say nothing.   Just hung up.   I am not Michael Robinson and I do not know him.

(800)386-3895..  A recording... in an Asian dialect.

If you already know who called you, why did you look up the number? Do you often look up known phone numbers?

fraud alert from citibank at 800-386-6624. I talked to caller, but told her I was more comfortable calling the number on my credit card. I did and It was a legitimate call.

This number has called me repeatedly today and when I block that number then I get calls from other numbers. I did answer and it is a foreigner and telling me that I have unusual activity on my credit card, I do not even own a credit card,

I say scam!  I got a voicemail (at work!) saying I need to call Citi's early fraud detection dept at this 800#. I called other legit Citi #s to inquire (NOT the one given in the vm), and was told both times that there is no trouble on my account (I verified the last transactions as legit.) And that they had not been trying to contact me
