- gfxzgcvb replies to WKSum, yeah...sounds like you have enough time on your hands to actually deal with these calls. why waste your time doing that? unless of course, you have an excessive amount of time? and to the person who posted the info about sending a cease and desist letter...i did. three times. didn't work. thanks for the info though, i'm sure alot of people didn't realize that :)
- sbdazzle replies to No Stupid Callswhy are they calling you? Maybe you should check and see.
- a.c.someone came to my door in the morning of 6/23/2009 and knocked saying
his name was 'joe robles' and he said he had a certified package for me
he asked if i lived here when i asked for a business card he said he didnt have one but he said he worked for a delivery company called a.i.g.located in norwalk california. he asked me if i received a certified letter i said no he said the reason he asked was because a company-employee is suspected of not delivering the packages that hes supposed to deliver when i asked for a phone number he gave me 1-800-395-2274 i suspect he was up to something, 'he walked away and disappeared'- Caller: aig or something

- WKSI was the one (above) who suggested that 2 can play the same game and when they call me and hang up, I call them back and hang up and yes, being retired, I do have a lot of time on my hands. Since I've been harassing them, just like they have been harassing me, the calls have dropped from 8 a day to only one today. I guess they don't like the taste of their own medicine.
If each of us called them back once a day and hung up on them, I bet they's stop. Dial the number and each time they ask for your account number, put in a zero instead. The third time the call bounces to an operator. When she answers, just hang up on them! Sooner or later they'll get the mesasage if we all do it to them.- Caller: HSBC card services

- doesnotexistI got tired of telling them that I am not the person they are looking for ... For my cell phone, I created a work-around.
I created a silent mp3 (10 seconds of nothing) and associated with their number(s).
Now I do not even know when they call, I never hear it and it does not affect any other calls as the phone rings normally.
Of course it only works for the cell, but if that is the only number they have for you all the better, if not at least it cuts down on some of the harassment.
I call it my doesnotexist ring tone- Caller: 1-800-395-2274

- Bugged replies to 8003952274| 2 replies3 or 4 calls a day HAHA I have recieved 29 calls today I am looking into any legal action I can take against them
- FYTHELERThey (and CREDIT ONE) called, so much at my last employers office, I lost my job after eleven years! Now, after paying $2ooo.oo to HSBC (800-395-2274)and being told by THEIR LAWYER my account was closed (O-O-O-O like I needed them, now?), they still call every few hours hindering any hope of me getting a job to pay anyone else...EVER. What IS THEIR PROBLEM? I screen them now. I WILL NOT give them the time of day...hum-m...maybe THAT is what I should give & that only.
- Caller: HSBC
- FYTHELER replies to KarmaThe KEY there is "ACT", not "LAW"! When I was an EMT, the "GOOD SAMARITAN ACT" was just that...and many Civil/Medical Professionals ignored that as legal hokess-pokess just for more LawSuits. But, now it's law and the protection is in place with specific guidelines. My point is an "ACT" is not legally binding until made into law. Just recognize there game and trounch them by there own rules.
- ChurchladyOh yeah, these fools calls 10 times a day, so I turn my tv to a Christian station when I tell them to hold on, and let them listen to the preacher. What's so bad hardly any of the morons speak English, sounds like they have a mouthful of hot dog wieners. Next time they call, get your cordless phone, tell them to hold on and turn the t.v. up full blast to a Christian station. Ha they hate that, or better yet talk like a baby, they really hate that.

- TammyThis number has been calling me constantly for about 3 days now. No voice mail or nothing. I answered once and the line went dead. What is going on? Very irritating!!!
- MeganSomething about a survey I guess, my dad picked up the phone one night and told them he was 15 and his parents weren't home. They called again and again hoping his "parents" would pick up. Before it had said unavailable and the caller ID but today it said Stalker Michell
- stopgets a lot of calls from this phone
- Kentuckian replies to ihadadreamIt has nothing to do with not paying bills. We have no credit cards and our house and cars are both paid for.
- HSBC are a bunch of crroks replies to PThey are the worst (next to Captial One) credit card company on the planet. I have perfect payment history for over 5 years and they jacked up my rate for one over the limit. It would be cheaper to borrow from the mob. Do not ever use HSBC for anything!
- bunny replies to distressedI think it is a scam for useing cell phone munites up
- akangelThis number calls constantly day and night non-stop. If I don't answer one phone they call another number I have. When you answer it is dead on the other end. One time I sat on the call and a lady called demanding rudely to speak with me by my name. I hung up as they refused to say what they wanted unless I confirmed I was the person they wanted. I called the number back and it answered voice mail as "card services". All my credit cards are paid current by auto-pay from my bank account already. These folks could be related to identity theft????
- Caller: ?
- akangel replies to Mercedezthis fax number is actually a phone number. I tried to fax a letter and it answered wanting an account number entered to continue my call to someone?
Do you have something more current?
Thanks,
angellove187@hotmail.com - MabelGetting 1 a day currently on my cell. I refuse to answer calls from businesses that do not show up on caller id.
