- john replies to mikewhat time i want to watch the explosion too im behind you
- Kristen| 2 repliesThis happened to me today. I called and was told that it came from an Oriental Trading offer that I got after I placed my order. For all the trouble I've had with that I believe I'll just go to Party City next time!
- KJHeyman replies to mmurzin| 1 replyUnfortunately, it happened to me too. It was my fault because I signed up for getting additional discouts for the future. If you just order the flowers, and do not sign up for anthing (promotions, discounts, coupons etc.) you will be fine. I love ProFlowers and will continue to use their service. It is unfortunate that we fall blindly into such things. Just call and explain what happened; the people on the other line are great!
- Almost fell for it. replies to Craig| 1 replyActually don't use 800flowers. I have read that they have the exact same "scam" going on under the name "Living Well". You click a button and BAM you are now a member. I hate these membership schemes that charge you a monthly fee for pretty much nothing, not even a freakin' newsletter.
- Angry Georgian replies to KJHeymanMy husband ordered flowers for my birthday and I am assuming he unkknowingly signed up for this scam of a deal on proflowers. I also love proflowers but after many complaints I have seen online you would think they would stop having part in this. I have had 2 charges on my credit card
and will call and cancel tomorrow and hope that they will credit my card back. I am not so sure I will order from proflowers again though! - Walter replies to KristenThe exact same thing happend to me on the Nov 21. I placed an order with Oriental Trading company back in October 2008 and this mysterious charge appeared in my bank account about 1 month later. I called my bank and they gave the the following number: 877-699-9619. I called it and the recording said that they were open Mondays - Fridays 9-5:30. I'm still trying to resolve it. The recording did not give a company name or anything.
- P'ed Off replies to meka| 2 repliesSo all the stories below happend to me as well. I found a better number to call. I was on hold for less than a minute and got a live person on the call. Name of the company: EMI Encore Marketing International
Phone (that works): (800) 648-9977 - Judy R replies to Jeff| 1 replyAnother company you can add to the list of companies that fall under Encore is Red Envelope. The same scam is on their website. Here is an e-mail address that I was given: CSNYDERE@EncoreMarketing.com
- Judy R replies to Judy RSorry, I got an extra e in the e-mail address and I don't know how to edit my message. It should read CSNYDER@EncoreMarketing.com.
- just another victim replies to JustinSame here. On the phone with them right now - after 15 minute wait.
They say this came through an offer presented at the end of an order we placed with Oriental Trading. No matter how many questions I asked about how they could justify such dirty tactics, the 'service rep' simply continued on. She's supposedly reversing the charges, but we'll see. - JamieWell, I finally noticed the charges on my account last month and just figured it was a purchase I forgot about...until I had another charge on my account today. At that point I knew something wasn't right, so I pasted the name of where the charge came from in the google search bar and came up with this website and some others talking about fraudulent charges that had been posted to their account. I was fuming! I can't understand how people that scam others can sleep at night.
Anyways, I called up my bank to cancel the pending charge and also cancel out my debit card that was getting hit with the charges and order a completely new card. I also called to find out exactly how far back the charges went. I had a total of six months of charges from "Easy Saver." After I finished with the bank I called the 800-444-8900 that also showed up with the charge and it seemed wierd to me that when I told them I wanted my account credited how they didn't even argue with me about giving me a credit. Normally, when you enroll in something, for example a cell phone contract, companies will battle not to give you a credit if it is something that you knowingly signed up for. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau. What they are doing simply isn't right. I most definitely won't be doing business with Proflowers anymore.- Caller: Easy Saver
- Jamie replies to Mike HDid you get all of your money refunded to you that they charged to your account? The first representative told me that he could only refund me two months worth, but then he transfered me to another department to refund me to total amount.
- Bryan replies to Almost fell for it.This is Horse----.....the same exact thing just happened to me. They have been charging my CC $14.95/month since Mother's Day. It's now over 120 dollars that I have shelled out. Not to mention the service from Pro-Flowers was awful....they delivered dead flowers to my Mother in Phoenix. ABSOLUTE BULLSH--!! Never again with that crap company.
- Defman1Same thing with us. My wife and mother-in-law ordered flowers at Christmas time and viola, we have a $14.95 charge on an account we just closed. IMAGINE the fees we now have!
- LenaS replies to TannaThank you for posting this number (800-355-1837) on this site. I was never able to get through using the 800-444-9800 number. I was finally able to cancel this membership that they claimed I signed up for when I purchased flowers through ProFlowers which I will never do again!
- paulas with everyone else i am also furious - i have to take time out of my weekend to (try) and get this money back that proflowers have stolen. currently still working on it. hopefully proflowers and the associated scammers will go out of business soon.
PS- many thanks to the organizers of this website for the useful info. - Latest Victim replies to P'ed OffI'm the lastest victim, apparently from ProFlowers. Thanks to you all for sharing the contact munbers for credit. For anyone who has just discovered these fees on their statement, you'll most likely only reach a rep M-F. Not the best way to spend your work day but worth the effort.
- Joshua WallaceThese people actully took 80 dollars out of my account!!!!!!!!!!! I xalled them and got the same responce and found they were threw pro flowers and I actually got my money re turned that same day!!! There agent told me how sorry he was and that was about a month ago and now today they have taken another 14.95 out of my account. My advise to all you who are having this same problem is to call your bank or credit card company have yor card de activated and get another card I know its a headache but in the long run they can not get your money any more.
- JodyI noticed that they had hit my bank account today for $1.95 so I called (800) 648-9977 and the lady was very nice and cancelled my membership and issued a refund. Very easy to deal with.
