Not only did I buy the in-home warranty that they refuse to send a technician out for, but my equipment has not worked properly since I bought it. They also didn't send me a part that should have been with my order, which I did not realize until several months later when I needed it: an adapter for the video card to plug it in to an HD devise without needing external sound. My video card (high end HD) can transmit audio with this adapter. No way to purchase one from them. One call from them has resulted in at least 12 return calls, all of which start and end the same way. I say hello about 10 times, get angry, and hang up. Sick of it. Tried calling them back to tell them to stfu about it and stop calling me, and I can't get through their automated "helper."
Never buying Dell again.

I just received a call from them.  Strange, since tech support said he would be calling me tomorrow,  This guy didn't even know what the name of the program was on my computer - never heard of it - when Dell had installed it.  He couldn't do anything for me and I am suspicious that there are Dell people undoing what other Dell people are doing.

This number belongs to Dell Customer Service. They called me today to follow up on a recent computer purchase. There was no name on the caller ID.

They called me and crummy elevator music started playing. I didn't pick up and it went on until I picked up and hung up. Why would dell put me on hold if they were calling me?

I've received 6 calls within a 10 minute span. I did not answer. If this is Dell, I do not own a Dell, nor have I ever purchased one, hence find this very suspicious.

Got a call from this number on house phone - did not leave a message.  called my cell phone (dont have any idea how they got that number) and didnt leave a message but you could hear fumbling and noise in the background.  We have Dell computers but none are under warranty.  Plus, the credit card we had with Dell is under my husbands name and he has not used it in 5 years.  Have no idea who this is.  A message would have been nice

I find it strange that Dell would be calling me and not leaving a message.  I did recently call technical help with an issue and it was resolved easily and free of charge.  I was sent a follow-up email to ensure everything was working correctly.

However, what would be the point of hanging up on you and calling several times a day?  Not sure this is actually Dell, but someone who is representing them in order to get personal info?

Why is dell calling me for not missed a payment or anything so weird

An automated system is calling our main office phone number every minute and there is no one on the other end of the call.  The phone number is from Dell customer support.   I've called them over 20 times about it and the phone calls will stop for a day or 2 and then start again.   This has been going on for about the last 2 months.

This number is Dell Support. You are getting these calls because;
1-You ordered a package
2-You signed up for a mailing list
3-If you went on Dell Support chat, they will call you back to see if your problem is fixed
4-Someone ordered you a package and they are confirming your address
5-You won a prize that you signed up for. (i.e they had a contest and you won)

These are the reasons they are calling you. Hope this helps!

I have gotten multiple calls from them stating they were dell and needed to update my laptop. They seem to have all the info like when I bought etc..When I question the callers they always call me by another customers name. Also, I called my own computer guy who says this is a scam or they want to sell you something etc...I was always told by these scammers that its not the computer its my software that needs updating, and they are calling ALL dell customers as a courtesy. My computer is set up to do automatic updates etc..Be care ful people!

Keeps calling and not leaving a message-seriously, if this is Dell, they need to leave a message then I will call them back.

Dell customer service. Only takes 2 minutes to answer how your experience was.  Overseas operator so just be nice and you'll be done .

This is Dell.  They have called me repeatedly since I ordered software from them.  Ironically if they would just do the job right the first time they wouldn't need to keep calling.  Also this call is from their call center in India as they don't keep jobs in the US but send them out of country.

Yes, it is Dell Support. I ordered a new battery for my lap top and they are calling to keep me informed of the progress of my shipment. As far as the time goes, they work out of India, so not sure of USA Time.
