Last night 5 calls from Hillsb. County Jail now today it starts with this caller. Like I'm going to send $$$ what a joke. Over this nonsense.

I returned an unresponsive call and I reached a phone menu that indicated that the phone number that I called from is local to the correctional facility from which I received the call. It asked to call (800) 483-8314 or to visit www.connectnetwork.com in order to set up an account under your phone number to receive future calls from this number, or to obtain information regarding your account. I ended the call.

I have also been receiving these calls from GTL the last couple days. They provide the connect network.com address as well as the choice to call back the number and provide a credit card.

I got 4 calls to my tablet yesterday from this number. It says an inmate (insert recorded I mates name in inmates voice) at an Ohio Correctional facility has requested to add this number to his/her approved list of phone numbers. I don't know anyone in OH and my tablet is never used for phone calls but has a phone number because it is connected through at&t and not just based on wifi. Because I didn't answer any of the calls the inmate (Tyrell I think) is gonna be pretty pissed he's calling a random tablet in North Carolina.  Sorry Tdog better luck next time!

I must be on a “let’s try this number” scammers call list. I do NOT know anyone is prison. Jail. Whatever. They are trying to scam me one way or the other—a random criminal trying to get a gullible person to add money so they call out or a telemarketing scam. In any case...bugger off. Blocked

I got a call from this number. They left a voicemail claiming something about deta relief and trash like that. This is not from a jail. It's a robotic system using a spoofed number. I blocked it a few days ago but they were able to leave a voicemail without my phone ringing today. What a waste of time.

It may be a legit service, but I don't know anyone in jail or prison that would be reaching out to me to set up an account.  I visited the site and it seems legit, but when I called them to inquire, they wanted my name.  Nope.

Any one in jail can write a letter and let you know they're going to call, the cost of these is ridiculous $25. for 15 minutes plus a $5 connect fee, that's $30. for 15 minutes, crazy and was used to scam people ,

Inmates dial numbers, hoping to get someone to approve a collect call. If someone does, they hang up and then bill their long distance prison calls to that phone number.

This a call from a person who is in jail. I do not want to talk with this person.

I also got a call from this number made me worried and started calling my children and making sure they’re all OK and not locked up and sure enough they were all OK and since I live in Connecticut and have a Florida number since I live there I don’t understand why they’re calling me from this number family members don’t have my number like that and if it’s a friend good luck because I’m not picking up anyway while I did was block the number

I disagree!, I have been getting up to 4 calls daily and I am very upset.  I have no friends on jail nor know anyone that will be and it always reference a different county so tell me that is not a spam. I work with fraud and sometimes those calls are done so that you press a number, this is to steal your information!

got this call i have spam notification on and will not even pick up any calls usually i just block the numbers as i go.  not worth my time to deal with this [***].

There’s many reports from this numberI got a call first from 407-545-7432 got two missed calls today and then a hour later I get a third call. The 407-545-7432 has been scamming passing as the Orange County jail but it’s no coincidence that the third call happens to be a Actual jail cell anyways I blocked both numbers because these scammers are just trying spoof me and trick me into thinking they’re legit when all proof is all over the internet I’m glad I didn’t pick up and did some digging to see where this number came from since t-mobile doesn’t block scammers from calling I like to dig around and verify for myself. That bein said becareful out there. It’s covid and everyone is scamming one way or another.

The number that I have to GTL links is not 800-483-8314 it is 800-483-3814!!!

I do NOT know anyone in jail anywhere. This is a scam. It does not offer an option to block the constant spam voice mails trying to trick us into depositing money.

No, theirs no information on who's  calling.  Just a record, Detail of how to setup account. This sounds like a scam. $25.00 just to receive a call. Way to much.. Whoever call,Please use a pen and paper to write me.. An may God bless us all.

This is a spam caller. I declined the call and they called back. I sent them to voicemail and they didn’t leave a message either time.
Even my phone showed it was spam.
