This company has my cell multiple times looking for a Nicole Hernandez. I told them they had the wrong number and to never call me again. If they did, I would report them for harassment and take legal actions

I also received a call this morning from this number. They left a message saying they were from dr presil's office. I've never heard of that doctor. I'm sure it is a scam.  Not going to call back.

got call from California Emergency Services claim that I owe money for a medical bill..  returned call several times..could not get a person on phone. Goggled phone number to find out who they were..and found this info

Called into my office, asking to speak with J, the owner. She said that her name was Monica, and that her call back number was (800) 498-7157. When I asked her what the call was regarding, she said that she couldn't disclose the matter. I asked her if J would recognize her name, and she said "no." I said that she most likely wouldn't get a call back, unless she left more information, and she said, "well, you know, I tried." Um, what? So, obviously, this isn't some pressing, legitimate matter. Scam.

Got a call from this number about my daughter who also visited an emergency room in California. Said it was from Dr. McMahon. Never heard of him. Not going to trust it.

It's a legit number, just bill collector for Dr / ER visits, just received the call this morning to update my insurance info, hung up on them and called the hospital billing directly and they referred me to this number that called me.

Oh also, you've probably never heard of the Dr they say because you typically see the P.A. or Nurse only in the ER so the actual Dr. on call you wouldn't ever know their name unless you study your discharge papers.. hope it clears a bit up.

Just got a voicemail today: "This is Carissa, and I'm leaving a message for Sarah. Please call back at 800-498-7157." She didn't give me a reason, or where she was working for. I call the number, the whole time, I'm waiting, there's little inserts like "if you'd like to pay the bill now, have your credit card ready," but they don't tell me what company I'm calling.

GOOD thing I looked up the number on google and found this forum. Seems they leave the same kind of short voicemails and try to get credit card information from people who have been to the ER recently.

I talk to the representative, who is looking at my work injury file from April, but seems she doesn't have much info that I suspect anyone who is legitimately on my case would know about. Asks for my home address, account number, would like to send me a bill. I tell her I had googled their company, California Emergency Physicians, saw the forum with 20+ complaints of fraud, and that I was hesitant to give any information. And if there is any other issue regarding the bill, I'd go to the hospital myself. She turned sour and said her company was legit. OK BYE.

They callled my house and told my partner it was a"Private business matter."

I recieved a call this morning and i was asleep so i listened to the voicemail. The guy asks for me n leaves his name & # to call back. I was curious  to see who called and it was a billing service. If a bill comes I will have to ask my lawyers about this.

Recieved a msg regarding my son on behaf ofa Dr Feldman...he's never seen a doctor by that name.Very strange as to how they got my number and sons name!!

I go a call saying this is  Dr. Murrys office and it is regarding your son. They gave the correct name of my son however he has never had a Dr. with this name. CEP is a place that physicians are contracted with. Many physicians belong to this group. It is very rare that a physician is employed by a hospital. Hospitals contract with a company like CEP.CEP stands for Central Emergency Physicians.

Received a bill from a company claiming to be drpaycenter.com from p.o.box: 582663, Modesto, California. The bill appears fraudulent. But they seem to have a fair level of access to my data.

Not to take it easy - I reported this to IRS/suspicisous mails, AETNA - fraud prevention, the original hospital involved AND my identity protection company. I will also be writing to Modesto Post office with this information.

I know they are connected to the ER doctors in Owensboro Ky. But I'm getting calls from them and I have insurance that pays all but 100 of my ER vistits. I've paid that yet they are still calling me. If they can't leave a message regarding what the call is for I'm not returning the call.

I wrote on June12 on this forum (see previous posts) about a highly suspicious phone call asking for my credit card info to charge me money for a doctor's visit that was actually covered by my school because it was a work related injury.
July- this time I got a letter from "CA EMER PHYS MED GRP. PO BOX 582663. MODESTO, CA 95358-0046" billing me 400$. The bill appears fraudulent, looks like someone used their laser printer and printed a one sided paper. I ignored it,
August 21, I get a "final notice" bill saying the balance due on my account is delinquent. The bill still appears to be fraudulent.

How do I report this to IRS?

It was a Guy talking very quiet and said his name was James and was looking for me?
IDK a James. eh bull. Got me in trouble with the BF.

Was left a message on my voicemail  to call Amanda at this number. When I call the number, I get a recording that says they are calling from Med America Billing Services, then states that their customer service department is in a training session all day and to call back tomorrow.
