I got this call on Christmas Eve of all days and they want you to buy tickets to their game for charity then today and yesterday as well after me saying i was not interested so i called them back then was directed to call 1-800-379-780891 that was the number i was given and i got to the do not call list so even though the number looks weird it went through. Hope this works.

It's a call centre and the dead air calls are to find out when you're home. If the computer gets an answer, it programs to call your number at that time of day for a telemarketer to talk to you.

Carriage Return is correct - try switching to fax if you have a fax/phone on the libne in question - may strike you out as a result if it gets the signal in time and it registers the number belonging to a fax line; alternatively, if you feel like being creative, play Beethoven's 5th back to the line using your touch tone / dial-pad buttons - who know what that might register?!

You can contact Rogers Telco - 1-800-496-4401 and complain - they are the service provider for this Toll Free Number.

Received call on January 22 and wish to be removed from their list.

Hang-up call every day

i called and they gave me this info - number belongs to Lindsay Cornies in calgary.  they gave me 403-531-6168 as a contact but it's out of service.  what a joke all these dead air calls are - should be illegal.

we keep getting calls from this number late at night past 9:00pm . we answer and there is silence and after a few seconds it hangs up. Dialing the number just ends up getting ring after ring after ring..
How annoying! do these people not know that some people get up really early, or have children that are in bed at that time of night.

WHO IS CALLING?

1-800-525-9241 - "CARLOS" just called wanted us to buy tickets to the Old Timers Hockey Game in FSJ for support of the Big Brothers Big Sisters - When I told him no thank you - Carlos rudely said - Oh Whatever - and when I said "Pardon Me" he was silent for a second then hung up!!!  Rude - called back and got a recording that said to call customer care as they were opened from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm but when I did and randomly picked number 1 after they listed all the choices I was told they were now closed and were opened from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm est Monday to Friday.

Same as everybody else.  Dead air and hangup.

This number calls all the time. This is one phone number that will call more than three times a day. Whoever, it is never leaves a message but, will just keep on calling and calling. I will never answer that's for sure.

The answering machine got it before I did; the result: no message. I phoned the number to see how was calling, and it seems it's still Oldtimers' Hockey.

The Oldtimers are back...

How can they get the donations when they hang up
and never say nothing? and keep calling those who
are clearly not interested, which is a waste of time.
Don't sound very Business efficient to me.
