Called at 8:30pm, didn't bother to answer

Now they are calling on Sundays as well.

This number has called me 3 times so far: Feb 28 @ 6:23pm, March 1 @ 11:04am, and March 4 @ 6:17pm.  I never answer, they never left message, they haven't called back... yet.

calls 2 - 3 times a day dead air when I answer the phone, very annoying!

At 1:25P...didn't answer, left no message.

When I answer it is dead air, just like the others have said. Everyone needs to join the Do not call list that Canada has just put in place. It won't stop all calls but it should cut down on them. Go to the government website and resister your phone number, It won't really take effect until the end of Oct. Hopefully this helps everyone out a bit.

Thank you so much for this info. I called and they say they have taken my number off their call list. Hopefully it will work. I made the mistake
of donating to the old timers about 20 years ago and have been harassed ever since. 7 times today alone, and if they do get you on the line they are so
aggressive they make you feel obligated to give even if you can't.

got calls repeatedly but just dead air then a hang up. I called back and found that it's old timers hockey and I got a number 1-800-379-7808 to call and got my number on their do-not-call list.

These guys are a charity so are probably exempt from the new Do Not Call List - but as other posters have pointed out the 1-800-379-7808 (then 9 and 1 in the automated menu) number will add you to their internal DNC list.

Calls here just about every day, dead-air, I hang up.  Screw them.

... a woman asked to talk to my husband.. said he was not available that he was sleeping... a woman did not want to tell me where she was calling from and then she hung up... very rude, plus she phoned at 8:50 at night when my little kids were already in bed... I phoned their no. 379-7808 to get me off their calling list

I am on the national do not call list.  You have called me every day this month, in spite of my telling you to stop.  I have filed a complaint and if you continue to call, i will file a criminal complaint of harassing phone calls... I'm thoroughly fed up.  Stop calling.

This is a solicitation call from old timers hockey.  I signed up for the Do Not Call list 2 months ago and apparently they are exempt - HOW DO YOU GET THEM TO STOP CALLING EVERY SINGLE DAY? DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY?  What good is the Do Not Call Directory?

Call 1-800-379-7808 and put yourself on their "FREE DO NOT CALL" List....
I know you have to take the initiative but pray god the calls stop .....

I am on the National Do Not Call List, and they call daily, in spite of my repeated requests with their operator(s)to stop.  I have filed a complaint with the Govt Website.... for all of those people out there who experienc the same, it is a criminal offence (harassing calls) for them to persist in calling you...  I will pursue that if they continue...

They keep calling our business lines - I tried the internal DNC add, but that didn't work.  Further research shows they're the Xentel scammers.
