Called Today,answered/background noise and hung up.
I Called back. There is a recorded message from Old Timers something about goals expected and reference to the call display number you have called and gives you
another number to call 800-379-7808

usually around 5:00pm AST. Dead air , can't even ask them to put me on the do not call list as no one seems to be on the line

got a call 12:10pm no message if these people have to prostitute them selves out , they should be required to at least leave a message FROM WHO OR WHAT COMPANY OR ORGANIZATION THEY ARE CALLING FROM...they invade my privacy every time they call and do not leave a message.

I don't know why anyone answers 800 class numbers anyway.  Let it go to voice mail unless you know its origin.

Every day or second day I have been reciving a call from this number, I have answered it from time to time, with no responce on thier end.  It is an ongoing annoince I have dealt with for the past month or so now.  If there is any way to prevent numbers from being issued and canceling abused phone accounts, I hope this is on the top of that list whomever theese goons are.  The phone is not meant for more than communicating between one and other... not for checking up on people to see when they are home, that is abuse!

Just got a call from them at my business. Oldtimers Hockey...something or other looking to see if we want to advertise in their program or some such thing. I explained we're already at our advertising limit for the year. He understood. Very polite. No big deal. I've had MUCH worse.

I agree I am getting the calls at least 2-3 times a day!

I had the same thing happen only with a woman on the other end. Absolutely beyond rude when I said no, and would not take no as an answer till I hung up on her.

No answer, dead silence. Then, next day again, same thing. Who is this? It's bothersome. I was in the shower, after a long day's work, the phone rang, got my living room carpet all wet. Who was it? 1 800 525 9241. Stop it!!!

They have to take you off their list if you tell them to, you do not have to call another number.  That is the law.  But since you work for them, you already know that.  Shill.

once a night - also representing themselves as being from the Calgary Police Service and rainsing funds for old timers hockey.  when asked to be placed on a DNC list they say it will take two months and i have to talk to a supervisor.  Then the line goes dead.  Time to start sending invoices for my time to the CPS.

Probably a reach but we have been bombarded with more than just this number with the same result. Could it be organized crime trying to figure out when you're not home for an easy B&E? I hope not.

I was getting several calls a day and no message. If it is old timers hockey, I did find them extremely pushy and would not take no for an answer.
