I told them on 1/26/11 I did not know the person they were calling so please remove my #. They called again on 2/2/11 & 2/7/11 & I did not answer. They called again today & I told them I did not know the person & that I had already asked them to remove my #. The guy said HE had never called & started getting hostile so I hung up. Next time I will remind them of the Fair Dept Collection Practices Act & threaten to file a complaint if they call again. Here is a link to the FDCPA:

We get calls at our home number and now on my cell which I would love to know how they got it!!!!!!  I owe no money to no one how can I stop them from calling???

i received a call from raragon and was ask if it was stressed and if i was born in 19??  i then asked them from wher they got my personal info and the reply was  from there clinic i asked who was there clinc and the reply was that they could not give out that info until i verafied the name and year of birth .  then they replyed that they would inforn ther clinic that i would not cooperate .    ended call  I turned around an took the number off my caller id and called them to see if they would tell me who ther clinc was and how they got personenal ino and i got the same anwser.   spoke with alex  at 1-800-560-6169.

All you need to do is to ask for the address to send the cease and desist letter and to only contact via mail and they cannot call you. Write down each time and the name of the person who contacts you each time: if possible make note of incoming number, all this applies to each company separately. I was a collector myself in NC and I do know some of this stuff pretty well.

They represent medical collections. If you have any type of medical bill that you still owe on and you never pay it then they will contact Paragon and Paragon will begin trying to collect the money. I moved and I had a bill that I thought that my insurance had taken acre of in full and apparently they hadn't and the hospital did not contact me, but they did contact Paragon. Once I spoke to Paragon about the issue, they told me who said I owed money and the amount and I was able to confirm it with billing at the hospital.

I get a lot of phony calls but I can say that this one was a legit collection.

I continue to receive calls from 1-800-560-6169, I have asked numerous times for my number to be removed from the account because they are asking for a man, Michael, I am clearly a woman and my name is Amy. I do not owe any past due medical bills or any past due bills of any kind. I am tired of being harassed by phone calls on my cell phone on my minutes for someone else's bill collector!!!!!! This is clearly against the Fair Debt Collection Act, I work for an attorney, hopefully I can get him to write a letter on my behalf to these people. Very annoyed.

I just got the number on my child's phone changed and now this number keeps leaving messages that sounds like the same voice that the voice-mail voice is. I told them to quit calling my child by calling the number they left 888-993-7676 which is another one of their's.

An individual from this number contacted me and asked if I was *my name* to which I responded, "I so not reveal my idenity to anyone to whom does not first identify themselves to me." The person on the other end then laughed and said "Awe, well then I can only assume by your response that you must then in fact be *my name.*" To which I responded, "You may assume whatever you like but you will be left only to your assumtions unless you identify yourself and the nature of your call." The person then again laughed and in a rather condicending tone said. "I think maybe you are *my name.* Are you *my name* and is your birthdate *my birthdate.*?" This is when I kindly reminded them that if they were attempting to verify my identity for the purpose of collecting a debt that they must identify themself, the agency that they were contracted with, and admit the purpose of their call as such an attempt. KNOW YOUR RIGHTS PEOPLE! When you ared contacted by an agency DO NOT identify yourself until the agent identifies themself, the agency they represent and that they are attempting to collect a debt! To do anything less is a VIOLATION of The Fair Credit Reporting Act! And any individual who disrepects me by laughing or attempting to play games with me will not speak with me further!

I should have read the other individuals post before posting my own. If this is indead a medical collections agency than they are definiantly in violation of The Fair Credit Reporting Act. Any time that you visit a physcians office, a clinic, a hospital, or any other medical facility they ask you to sign a Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act form. This form states that you understand that you are protected from the release of your private information, (including your name, date of birth, and contact information) to any one person or agency for any reason, including for the purpose of debt collections. Again, KNOW YOUR RIGHTS!

I would love to know how this company acquired my number, asking for my boyfriend.  He passed away this summer and I KNOW he would never have attached my number to anything.  We did not live together and had no legal ties to each other in any manner to which any company could EVER come to me for any debt.  If my boyfriend did not pay a medical bill this year it is only because he can't!!!

William at Paragon Revenue Group was very rude to me when I repeatedly asked how he acquired my phone number.  He hung up on me after I asked his last name.   Well guess William?  I live in the same town where your company is!!  Ah the wonders of the internet.  See you soon!
