- Pat| 1 replyI just got a call from this number and they asked for a person that I don't know. Just because I have the same last name it's not me or whoever they asked for. They should find the person and not assume just because you have the same last name it's someone in your household. Leave me alone.
Pat - Wally replies to PatIf you have caller ID you can use call blocking ( *77 to turn on *87 to turn off ) to help stop the calls. If they don't list a name with the number it should automatically block them from connecting to your phone. Don't quote this as gospel because with technology like it is today anything is possible.
- chris risnerthese people call and WONT identify theirselves..so whats the deal???
- terryFMS incorporated is the name they are giving!!

- Teenygozer replies to FYII think it's pretty obvious to anyone reading this that you work for this company and should be ignored, just as the actual phone calls themselves should be ignored. It's like internet spam, if you reply to it, you will be inundated by a ton more spam. You will have essentially let them know it's a working number, and it will be sold by list-sellers as such.
I worked for the Direct Marketing arm of an ad agency many years ago, and can tell you that selling viable lists of names, addresses and phone numbers is a huge, huge industry. That's why if you donate to one charity, the next thing you know, you're being called and sent direct marketing requests for donations in the mail by twenty other charities within a month. The charity can make a lot of money selling lists of people who willingly donate to charity to other charities. Not just charities, my mother donated to one Republican politician many years ago for one stance the guy took and has since been inundated by tons of mail and phone calls from every other Republican candidate, both national and local, and the RNC, as well as dozens of conservative "think tank" organizations. They all ask for donations. - TeenygozerThe caller ID says "800 Service". My voicemail always catches just the end of the robo-call's message: "...if you are not interested in speaking with a representative at this time, we will disconnect...." and then it disconnects. They've called a few times.
Never gonna pick up. Would be stupid to do so.- Caller: 800 Service

- Joe L.Well just like many of you i had benn recieving calls for quite a while and never been able to connect to anyone. Just now I called them back and a miss Carrie Fisher (lol!) answered. I explained that i had been getting calls and called back to see what they needed. She asked for a lady that used to live in the house that i bought ten years ago! So i told her my case and she assured me that we would be removed from the list. We'll see. Good luck to all. P.S. When someone yells at you, kill em with kindness it drives them crazy! i used to be a telemarketer, and i learned that trick early on. Ciao!

- Cindy D| 1 replyThey will not stop calling and asking me if i know a person and i keep replying no and when i asked what the company's name was she just kept yelling and going off with cursing at me. Mind you, i just got the telephone number and i am not even from this state (CT)!!
- Caller: FMS
- :-( replies to FYIThey don't take your name off the list. I've requested being removed TWICE and about a month after the request they start calling asking for a new name!
- CC FoxEveryday I get MANY CALLS, more than 4, from this number. I filed a complaint with the FCC and found the website/business connected to the number. I emailed the attorney on the site and instructed him to have his business stop calling immediately! I will post if they actually stop. I should add not one message EVER provides a company name. I sure wish someone would sue this idiot.. Very irritating.
- Caller: UNKNOWN
- CCOkay, after much effort and bothering a poor attorney I finally found out who this number belongs too. It is a legit collection agency calling for someone who does not live here. I had to argue with the idiot rep, after I pushed 1, before I could get the company's name and location. It is "FMS, Incorporated" out of Tulsa OK. Their website http://www.fms-collect.com/
They called my home several times a day nearly everyday and DID NOT leave a message stating who they are. I emailed them and advised them I would make a complaint to the FCC and the BBB for their questionable business practices. They harass whomever they are looking for and they do NOT leave their company information.
If you are getting calls from them, call them and tell them to remove your number or take care of your business if you do owe a bill. But the bottom line is, they clearly are walking a thin line legally relative to calling to collect from someone.
I hope this helps.- Caller: FMS, Incorporated

- CC replies to Cindy Dhttp://www.fms-collect.com/
Get on their website and send them an email and demand they remove you. They said they removed me.. we shall see. I answered and the idiot rep said she would remove me. Anyway, I hope this helps. - CC replies to Not happynope, their webpage is http://www.fms-collect.com/ not associated with the government!
- TLeeThese guys are part of a growing inch e market of people who buy bad debt from the original creditor for pennies on a dollar then do what the can to collect as much as they can. It never goes back to the original lien holder/lender. They have written it off their books, (and declared the loss on their tax filing forms no doubt). In my case, they are looking for my little brother. But the tactic is the same, call, call, call. No message, no message, no message. My wife has answered and told them repeatedly that he is not here and we are not willing to divulge any further information. I view that as tantamount to letting the fox into your neighbors chicken coop. But, they keep calling. They just sell off the file to another agency or transfer it to another office so the incoming call changes numbers if you block this number. It is all very nearly illegal if you communicate with them to stop, as mentioned before, but they don't care. The State's AG offices are so underwater, they have to get hundreds of complaints about someone to bother looking into it. But, that's the only recourse you have in our current debt-ocracy. The Moneychangers are in charge of the country, and they want their pound of flesh.

- SteveCCS, Credit Collection Services is a collection agency used by AT&T. If you ever had AT&T (fast internet service) which sucks, this collection agency is attempting to collect the balance of a 1 year service agreement. They will call at all hours and all your numbers with a perdictive dialer, relentless, nuisance !!
