I got these jerks to stop by simply answering the call with 'consumer fraud division, how may I direct your call?'

The calls stopped once there was actually a person on the other end.  They hung up immediately and have not called back,

If you go to this site: http://www.fcc.gov/complaints you can file a complain against the number, then they will get the FCC after them. You must at least tell them that you want them to stop calling you and that if they don't you are going to file an FCC form 1088C. It takes a month but they will stop calling.

They have been calling me for almost a year. I have called and spoke to a person and they said they took the number off. Well no they did not. I get calls from several numbers they use from First Point. Next time I pick I will tell them that I know the name of the company and will be calling the better BBB and the FBI to report them.

    Hey peeps!!!

I get a phone call from these clowns too and they just won't quit so here is what you do.......answer your phone and simply put it down and let it go. Their message is 2 minutes and 56 seconds long and it's getting billed to THEIR 800 phone bill!!!!!!! If enough people do this, they'll go broke!!!!!

Your health is of NO concern to him. He's a ruthless bill collector. In most states, if you have a payday loan, it is a debt that is NOT punishable by jail time. That's a ploy they use. If it's a check cashing transaction, that too is RARELY punishable by jail because they knew it was a bad check when they accepted it. Look at my earlier post. Just answer your phone and lay it down and let these worthless creatures pay for the air time!!!

I hope you are doing better!!!

They call me every few weeks in intervals. I simply have saved the number in my contacts as "Scam2"
and never answer--let them waste their time!!! I call it scam2 because I have a similar set up for an other annoying scam company that has been calling on and off for over a year.

FU @ All Debt Collectors replies to debt collector
When our own government is printing 86 Billion a month to pay its own bills while declining our US dollar. Taking us ever so close to an international disaster and Martial Law in America I am really not that worried about my damn credit right now by satisfying these damn creditors who all got bailed out by my tax money! As far as I am concerned as soon as I receive my bail out check I will send you yours! As far as now untill then the check is in the mail!

BILL COLLECTORS SUCK replies to Eff Bill Collectors
There is a special place in HELL for people who try to intimidate people hoping to scare them into wasting what little money they have by sending it to these shady so called LLC collection agencies. I promise everyone reading this you can NOT be arrested for a bill. And if you do owe any money its taken time to get to these people and as soon 7 years goes by it will be off your credit. If you attempt to pay them and then do not satisfy the debt in total the 7 years starts all over again. I figure I am 42 so by the time I am 50 I can buy a house then that is if Martial Law hasn't been declared then I will just take over one!

This company has called me over and over again after all my hospital bills have been taken care of because of workers comp. I have told them over and over again that this has been taken care by workers comp and further information that they need they need to get up with the company I work for and gave them their numbers. They have continued to harass me even after I told them to stop. At what point will it have to come to so I can sue this company for harassment charges?

I couldn't answer the phone when initially called. When I called back, spoke with a rep who immediately started asking me personal information. After confirming my address and wanting to ask more personal information, I asked who this is and she would not answer, that she 'legally' could not tell me. I asked next who this legally was and she started going off that I need to stop yelling and hung up. I never raised my voice, just concerned as to who and why this person was calling me asking me my personal information. As far as I know all my bills are and have been in order for years which adds to the confusion if this is a collection agency.

If this call was legitimate, why the quick high-tail hang up?

they are form north carolina and calling to canada, how can they collect anything, i do not owe anybody money.  It is the same adress and postal code as another prank call number(19802665512) i started to receive a month ago, same mo. Answer or open the line and hang up, it will cost them money and they will stop.  But officially it is a prank number, should refer to police if in the state, in canada it is the RCMP that will refer to FBI for that, and it takes about a year for them to start arrest and put them in court.  When in jail they cant call anymore.  Did that whit scam here they made 35 arrest, from operator to the king pin.
