- TriciaCalled me today. I own a Dell that has been out of warranty for about five years. I didn't answer, they left no message.
- JN| 1 replyI get these calls 3-4 times a day. The call is evidently from India. They tell me that they are from Dell and that there is something wrong with my Dell laptop, but won't tell me what the problem is. They somehow know the model number of my laptop. Then they try to give me steps to correct the issue and hang up during the call. In each call there is a tremendous amount of static on the line. It's obviously not from Dell.

- JustinCase replies to JNHave you ever gotten a random call from a support tech that wasn't Indian or foreign? Hang up on them immediately as soon as you hear they're foreign, what they're after ain't good. Mess them up more and possibly cut back on the volume of junk calls you get by not answering unknown numbers in any way. If you've got a machine taking the calls, they're going to continue calling.
- Lady SI received a phone call from this number. Again from reading the posts I feel it is the same person who trying to call me from another 800 number claiming to be a Dell support person. You cannot understand them. After several times they kept telling me my Dell was giving out errors. I know that Dell does not call and I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST. Also receiving calls from out of the area.
- Caller: Claiming to be Dell
- John DeBell| 1 replyThree calls in three days from this number. No answer on other end to my "Hello", but on today's call, when I said "Bye", an automated voice said "Good Bye", and hung up. I have been receiving multiple unwanted calls from 800 numbers in the past week.

- LCFRAUD - FAKE - SCAMMER
It is not Dell. they are trying to take your money. They have Dell database and trying to make you do things on your computer and remote in and tell you that you have viruses, and other things that you need to pay to get it fix. Do not tell them any info...- Caller: FAKE DELL
- RADrunner800-425-2067 is showing up as the number on caller ID but my phone is set to send all calls of this type straight to voicemail - once in awhile they get through, by blocking their number, or using a different number, but it's always the same person "Alex Bell". It's a scam. They're phishing, trying to install malware or ransomware on the computer, whatever it is it's pure maliciousness so don't fall for it. I've reported them to the FTC, to Dell, and will be also reporting them to the BBB.
First they claimed to be from Windows tech department, then in a later call claimed to be from Dell tech support, but there's several problems with this. Dell always always always emails me, and this person doesn't already have my email or won't use it. Dell is able to refer me to a number that is operational and verifiable upon reverse lookup, they were unable to do that. And they made several mistakes when they called me, points of fact that they are apparently unaware of but I have a keen ear and don't miss a trick. Other than having my name, phone number, and computer service tag number, they have nothing else to verify they are who they say they are. Apparently, the Dell call center in India has a security leak and their customer's NPC info is out there for purchase.
Thought I'd share all the other numbers they've used to attempt to call me, and hope anyone else receiving these calls doesn't get scammed.

"Alex Bell" gave me two phone numbers in San Jose, California
408-890-6018 and 818-222-9456 his extension he said was 918861.
And my favorite, India 800999988
(which looks like a 1-800 number at first glance but is short one digit - reverse lookup confirms India)
Apparently a spooler number, 1900343 and 900343, sometimes appears on my caller ID, but it's the same people
