Got a letter in the mail telling me to call this number 1-800-642-4720 to raise my credit limit then got a email from wellsfargo@connect.wellsfargoemail.com with same offer. This is a phishing scam, do not fall for it people. Wells Fargo's domain is wellsfargo.com not wellsfargoemail.com

Left a message they were sending me a new credit card and when it comes, activate it and destroy my old card.  I have never had a Wells Fargo credit card nor would I ever want one.

I received a TEXT stating my WF Credit Card is being fraudulently used at a Walmart in San Leando.  I did not call the number listed on my TEXT but I did call the number on the back side of my Credit Card.  It was true.  My card was being used, even though I had it on me.  Thanks to Wells Fargo for catching this. Call the number on the back of your card, IF you do have a WF credit card.  if not, it's likely a robot call from this same number.

Claims I got a new Wells Fargo card but that is wrong.  This is a scammer trying to get your personal information for identity theft.

Like I stated above, it was Wells. I looked at my credit card and there are 4 different numbers you can call, and none are this number above. Really?? It's confusing.

It says Wells Fargo and it is but it is a fraudulent call just the same.  Call Wells back on another number and report the call.

If your credit card works, then the #’s on back of card are legit. Either this 800-642-4720 is a legit WFargo fraud #, or it’s used by hackers for spoofing & pretending to be WFargo. Always call the # on back of card for verification!

On my phone, there was no Caller ID, just the 800 # and “Toll Free call”. Could be spoofed ... or not (??)

Call received on a landline with a "WELLS FARGO" Caller ID.  No message left.  As many others, I suspect a scam.
