- geriThis number has been calling or rather stalking our home for weeks now calling up to 15 times a day beginning a 8am and ending at 8 pm. I figure if they really want to talk they would leave a message which they never do, I have blocked the number but they continue to call. When I call back it says it's wells fargo and asks me to key in my card number............NOT.
My next step is to go to my local wells fargo bank and talk to them. - KevinI got a call from this number and refused to give out any information. They claimed to be from Wells Fargo and were offering a $100 savings card if I sign up for a preferred customer program. I hung up and called Wells Fargo directly, the guy I spoke with had to do some research but verified that it is real. He transferred me to another phone line where I spoke with someone who said the only way to sign up was through one of those marketing phone calls.
She said they help with looking up phone numbers and helping to research purchasing decisions. I asked if there is a website or any other info, she said you get the info when you sign up. I said "sounds like a secret society or something" her: "yea, pretty much"
I guess it's real, but it's still sketch.- Caller: Wells Fargo
- Call type: Telemarketer
- lolalashannoying calls offering "special customer" perks...i canceled all my accounts with them last year after they raised my credit card interest and closed my account for "lack of use" citing i " obviously didn't need a credit line that large". Crooks.

- Also fed up!| 7 repliesI received a call from 800-642-4720 this morning about 8:20 AM. When I saw that the caller ID read up as "Unknown," I did not answer the phone. I did a search on Google for the number, and lo and behold, I found all these messages. I will also complain to Wells Fargo and Dial America. I have my business account there, but I am on the Do Not Call list (lot of good that does!). I don't want any calls from any telemarketers.

- ElmerGuys the real number should be 1-888-276-2295. Call this number to cancel and you still get your savings card as a gift. Basically they are tryint to see how many ppl they can fool with the savings card. If you dont cancel the Personal Assistant right away then you will owe wells fargo some money!
- Call type: Telemarketer
- mrsdustysmomCalled me this am. Asked to speak to (initial) (last name), rather than full name of account. I said she had the wrong number. I will get in touch with Wells Fargo again and tell them I don't want to be bothered with their sales calls.

- nochumpI receive calls constantly from someone claiming to be Wells Fargo. I have asked to be removed, but nothing happens. I went to the bank (I do have a checking acct there) and changed my privacy settings months ago...nothing helps. After a month or so, they change their phone # and call again. These are other #s they have called me from:
877-740-3332
877-740-3336
714-551-5553- Call type: Telemarketer
- nijonano2Never a message. I'm on DNC list. Makes me wonder why I signed up for that. STOP CALLING!!!
- joen replies to Also fed up!| 6 repliesYou people are rediculous!!!!!! This program is legit and it is also sponsored by Wells Fargo. They have different and several third party vendors that call on behlf of them. Maybe instead of complaining like little girls you should take a look at the contract you signed when you joined the bank. By law you can still be contacted by these companies. If you dont like it you can leave the bank, but trust me, they will not lose any business. All of you are stupid and pathetic. Realize that YOU do not make a difference in the banks pockets. One person leaves three join, thats the reality of the business.
- Marty replies to joen| 3 repliesYou are naiive for posting your comment!! I have received phone calls from this number and when I call back after not answering, it immediately takes me to Wells Fargo automatic number where to begin you have to key in your personal info. People, be smart and don't do it!!!
- LizThey actually left a message. It's Wells Fargp credit card services. I recently received a low interest balance transfer, but I never activated my credit card. They were reminding me of that fact.
- Caller: Wellls Fargo
- joen replies to Marty| 2 repliesnaiive? Really... If you would take the time to listen and just decline the offer the calls would stop. But instead you ignore them, or answer and hang up. Companies don't care if you're fed up. They only care about the profits. Trust me I manage this program, all you have to do is kindly ask to not be called again. Not yell!!!! ask....
- George replies to joenThat's not really true at all. For over two years I have been receiving constant calls from about fifteen different phone numbers (mostly "toll free") claiming to be Wells Fargo telling me about various promotions and whatnot. When I am home to answer the call, I politely tell them that they have the wrong number and that I am not currenty, or have ever been a Wells Fargo customer. I realize it is not the fault of the person calling, which is why I am polite every time. However, after receiving over 450 phone calls and having to explain myself more than 70 times, my patience with your company is starting to wear thin. Since you seem to be such a genius, I will repeat myself: I AM NOT CURRENTLY, OR HAVE EVER BEEN A WELLS FARGO CUSTOMER. I have even sent via certified mail a cease & desist letter to Wells Fargo about a year and a half ago (after the 100th phone call to my unlisted home phone number) instructing them to stop calling. The phone calls stopped for about three weeks, then started up again. I simply want your company to stop calling my house. I cannot understand why your company will not listen to reason.
- ErinThey continue to call for my daughter and when I told them to quit call and tried to give them her new phone number the gal told me 'I'm not authorized to take numbers'. So how do I have them stop calling for my daughter?????
