Hi there, calm and cool collections guy. Not everyone with credit problems are scum. The economy is bad for many reasons, and yes, many people are over exended and got themselves into this mess. Yelling and screaming at people, lying and violating the Fair Debt Collections act doesn't make every collections agent a scumbag, either. Most of them are, but I'm sure you're different, aside from the evident anger management issues. You're a peach, now STFU and GBTW. Oh, and please follow the law and stop calling me despite the cease and desist letter I sent you.

Hate to burst your bubble, but some of us have not been able to pay our credit card bills because of LOSS OF EMPLOYMENT!!!  Not because we don't want to pay and think we're getting away with something....the economy is lousy, people lose their jobs and aren't able to pay their debt....

Received a call in which they asked me to verify my address. No, I will not give my address to people whom I don't know.

He was rude and said then he couldn't help me. So I said, "I'm sorry but I don't know who you are or why I would need your help." He insisted I did. So I said (truthfully) I'm trying to get two young children down for nap and do not have time for this. He was very short with me.

Let me get this straight, you essentially stole money from someone else by not paying your bills. Because of that you have a debt collector calling constantly and you so proudly boast that you are now going to sue him because you filed bankruptcy? How can you be proud of that? You're a loser.

Me too. Scam is he pays in advance way over needed amount to clean carpets for an address he never gives. He says he has a disease so he can not speak. He texts you and gets your address and UPS's you a huge check in which you money gram back minus your small charge. Just don't handle the check and call the cops. They will pick up check and follow up!
