I called today and the lady on the phone was very helpful. She cancelled my "membership" and gave me a refund for this month and last month.
I think if you are polite to people you tend to get a better result and quicker response. Is it really worth getting upset and yelling at someone over $12.00?
They got me through Fandango. (movie tickets) Safer to keep the card in the wallet until you get where you are going.

Noticed a $12 charge on my credit card statement of which I had no previous knowledge.  The purchase listed it as Reservation Rewards with an 800 number in CT.  I looked up the info on 800notes.com and made a call to cancel the subscription and get a refund of $12.  They got my information through propertyroom.com of San Clemente, CA.  Evidently you believe you are filling out part of your order request for your on-line purchase when it is actually a subscription for for Reservation Rewards to pull $12 a month off your credit card every month until you finally catch it.  I was lucky.

I received a $12.00 billing from this company on my debt card. When I ordered a pizza from Pizza Hut online, after my order was placed with Pizza Hut's website it said I would get $10.00 off my next order. I clicked on this icon and did not provide any information to them. The information was provided by Pizza Hut when I clicked on the $10.00 off my next purchase icon. It is wrong that companies like Pizza Hut (and any other company) provides Reservation Rewards with your personal information and bank card information. I called 800-732-7031 and cancelled this so called membership and was refunded the $12.00 they stole from me.

They got me through CheapTickets.com. I called in and canceled my "membership" then proceeded to talk to a customer service rep who, though not cheerfully, very expediently processed my refund request for the last 6 months. Be sure to verify how much they owe you. Otherwise it took maybe 4 minutes and was very painless.

I was drawn in after making a purchase at ShopPBS.com. ShopPBS.com has never heard of Reservation Rewards. In the whole sneaky, furtive, underhanded transaction I never knew I was not dealing with PBS until the $12.00 charge showed up on my debit card. They ("Reservation Rewards") must be awfully good at concealing their true intent!

How does one avoid this kind of scam in the future?!?

they are so [***] rediculious. i thought i was the only one, who was probably just plain stupid, and fell into this. apparently they have done it many times, to people who are NOT stupid (you guys). if they have so many complaints and so many people demanding refunds... those websites (such as fandango and online flowers) should cancel their sponsorship/partnership with them immedeately. i'm really pissed off. the sad thing is not everyone realises these extra charges made by them and they are probably really rich from people who don't check their bills. ugh.

I just noticed this on my account, I called the number it turns out when I pre registered for world of warcraft WOTLK at gamestop.com they had a 10 dollar off coupon code I clicked.  I by no means ever saw that I was paying or authorizing 12 dollars a month to do this.  I will never from game stop again if they parter with people like this.

Anyway the guy canceled my membership and refunded me 3 months of service which is 36 dollars.  I can't believe any major company would EVER parter with a place like this

This is a total scam.  I NEVER checked off a membership or subscription for anything when I made a purchase on a merchant page.  If you are reporting this to BBB you should also report your dissatisfaction to the merchant who allowed this on its site.

We got nailed through an order we placed with Shutterfly.com. Check your past credit card bills and see how far back the charges go.  Call the 800 number and insist that they refund you for every month you were charged.  They credited me for 3 months.  Also this happened to me before with a company called Shopper Discounts.  They refunded me for 11 months "membership" last year.
