- DWAustin replies to Brian Evans| 2 repliesI experienced the same problems, the same $12 charge to my account. It was from the Reservation Rewards program, something that I signed up for to buy movie tickets from Fandango. I called and canceled my subscription and then my bank refunded the charge. Scary stuff.
- ZookeeperMy fee was processed through Orbitz.com. It was not until I said I would call the Better Business Bureau that they said they would give me a full refund. We will see what happens. Unfortunately I did not look at my credit card bill closely and did not catch the charges rioght away.

- J Sanders replies to Brian EvansI got signed up through tickets.com. I will not shop there anymore. The only way to keep business from giving your credit card info to scams like this is not to do business with them and tell everyone you know.
- LauraleiI noticed that my account had $12.00 taken out in January and February from Reservation Rewards. I called the number and gave them my name and address and they looked my file up. I told them I did not know they charged and the gentlemen told me that there policy was clear but that they would refund my money in 5-10 business days, so hopefully they will do this. The man was very polite so I think as long as you stay calm and are polite to them you will get quicker service.

- MHI got the $12 charge because after I bought my plane tickets from Continetal, there was a image that said click here for $20 off your next flight. I was able to call the 800# listed on my credit card statement and they said I was still in free trial mode and was able to cancel with no charge.
- HonestandFair replies to SteveDuring December 2007 my wife bought something from Chadwick's online and was offered a $10 discount for signing up with Reservation Rewards. Naturally, she did not remember the discount nor signing up nor that we would be billed monthly, but she did in fact sign up. When I saw the $10 per month charges on the credit card statements, I correctly assumed she signed up for something. Recently, she noticed them and asked me what they were, so I called to dispute the charge only to have the dispute department tell me that they believed the charges were legal. So they connected me with the merchant who identified what happened as described above. I cancelled the membership but unfortunately, since it had been 14 payments we only were credited back 7, which means that we have a net loss of $60, i.e. initial discount of $10 on the purchase, but subsequent charges totalling $70. The moral of the story? Take responsibility for your purchases and be wary of offers of discounts if you do this or that...
- JasonInteresting article from a consumer advocacy group regarding reservation rewards parent company Webloyalty:

Like others I was scammed as well. My purveyor of choice was EBGames (on the web).- Caller: Reservation Rewards
- Whattheduece replies to dmI don't even remember how they got mine. But they did, I didn't notice until a year later. Total cost well over 100 bucks, that I could have used to clean up spilled milk would have been better service.
- Robert GeistweitNo call, just debit on my Wells Fargo Acct.
- DwayneWell the squeaky wheel does get the grease. Got my full refund back in 2 days. They must make a fortune as easily as i got my money back..
- PATILSRESERVATION REWARDS 8007327031 CT charge of $12 was posted to my Citi account.
I never had signed for any service or clicked anywhere for the coupons.
So I have disputed the charge with Citi.
Most people on the forum are glad to get the money back, but I wonder how come they charged it at the first place. Also even if 20% do not identify these charges RESERVATION REWARDS would be making millions from consumers.
The Federal trade Commission or financial authorities need to take notice of this and take serious action against this company.

- P PATELThis too, happened to me... via a purchase to online Buy.com.
Actuall there are two companies (Shoppers Discount and RESERVATION REWARDS )Both are linked together As first I cancelled with RESERVATION REWARDS and then I cancelled with Shoppers Discount. Surprisingly On Customer Service Rep (From Shoppers Discount) told me you have already cancelled. (FYI I called both within 5 Minutes) so I cleared that there are some other company named RESERVATION REWARDS not you. She did not reply. But She managed to cancelled my 'MEMBERSHIP'.
I really hope that Buy.com knows nothing about this, because it makes them look really bad. I won't be ordering from there again an!
The woman was clearly familiar with these calls and knew how to get the credit issued. Unfortunately, it didn't make her any nicer to deal with.
Shopper Discounts and RESERVATION REWARDS should be ashamed of themselves! or they must find some other way to earn money (Except this as this will hurt online shoping revenue and alternatively genuine company's sales) - EPAceI just found a charge from this company on my husbands credit card. This card has NEVER been used on the internet.
It was just an automated service when we called the number to cancel it. So it is untelling where they got his CC#. - DisgruntledThey didn't call me - this was the phone number on my credit card statement. I ordered tickets from fandango back in the fall of 2008. Then I cancelled my supposed membership (via email) for shopper discounts that I didn't sign up for but because I used FANDANGO to purchase tickets they had my credit card number. Now in Feb 2009 I was charged with reservation rewards ($ 12.00) from this same company - whoever they are - and I called their ph# 800-732-7031 and had to cancel verbally. They claim that in 5 days I will be reimbursed when I said I had a copy of my email from back in the fall. Geez. Don't order tickets from BUY or FANDANGO.

- tuanai think they got me through cheapoair.com
i cannot reach them on the phone now. - harleymomBe careful if you buy a flight ticket on CheapOair.com, they have good deal BUT you will be subscribed to Reward Reservation and you will pay (monthly fee) 12$ charge...I never accepted to be a Reservation Reward costumer ( 18007327031).. I learnt it when I received my credit card bill and I saw 12$ charged on it.. I used only one time my credit card for one purchase on the internet. No more. I called Reservation Reward and, I asked to be unsubscribed, to be refunded and they credited 12$ on my next credit card bill. I hope it is the first and last time they caught me.
- Michael Matho| 3 repliesMy wife and I ordered a pizza on Pizza Hut website in December of 2008. There was a banner saying "$10 off on your pizza" so naturally she clicked on that link thinking it was a legitimate Pizza Hut thing.
Then in February of 2009 looking at my online banking history I notice a $12 monthly withdrawal from Reservation Rewards 800-732-7031 since last December! The phone number appeared as withdrawal info.
I want to sue these thieves! Can we all join and file for a class-action law suit? It seems there are enough people to get this to work and put an end to this disgusting practice!!!!
Cheers,

- Michael Matho replies to Dr Leewell are you sure they only took $12? You should go back to earlier bank slips to make sure...
- Michael Matho replies to D MasonOK but it doesn't excuse the way they steal money from people. Think of all the people they literally stole $12 per month and what if these people don't notice the $12 monthly withdrawal? Imagine thousands of people they do this to and multiply by $12... It surely is a nice little bundle of green papers....
