- Michael Matho replies to linley| 4 repliesHey,
Have you been refunded? Would you be interested in opening a Class-action Lawsuit on these thieves? I cannot believe the way they steal people's money and nobody does anything. Even if you consider that they reimburse people on people's request, think of all the money they do on people who do not notice the $12 withdrawal and even when they do, imagine the interest they make on your behalf with your money. Well let me know if interested, I think I want to do this, I'm serious, we need to stop these thieves! - ticked! replies to Michael MathoI just realized this stupid charge.. apparently when accepting what i thought was a gift ($20 back) from Orbitz.com after ordering tickets I had to enter my email which was my electronic signature to allow them to start billing me....... URGH! Stay clear of Orbitz.. I wrote them asking how they could be affiliated with such a sceem...?
- ElusionMWow, glad to know I was not the only one charged lol!
Thanks guys, with reading your advices, I just called them too. I was charged $12 out of nowehere, I saw it while I was going through my Citibank account online after I ordered a new PS3 Dualshock 3 controller and saw the $12 charged from RR about a month ago.
I just called, and a guy picked up. He seemed quite nice, and kind. We had a poilte 5 minute conversation, I ended my membership(one I never signed up for LOL) and he said the refund would be made(hopefully ASAP). All went good.
Thanks guys, and thanks to the kind representative. - BertI just noticed several $10.00 charges from Reservation rewards at 800-732-7031 in CT
I called and they agreed to cancel my account and refund this month and last month charges. I was told I signed up for this when buying flowers from FTD.com
I never signed up for this and I think this is a complete scam. We should not only hold this company responsible but the companies that allow them to farm credit card numbers. I am writing a letter to FTD to tell them I will never order from them again and I think we should all do the same with the companies that gave away our money. $10.00 is not a big deal however $10.00 per month times a couple of hundred thousand people is a big deal. From what I gathered Reservation rewards offers no tangible services or products so they basically sit around all day collect millions of dollars for doing nothing!- Caller: Reservation rewards
- BertHere is the letter I wrote to the CEO of FTD.com and I suggest everyone send similar emails to the companies that allowed us to scammed.
Dear CEO or Customer Service
I cannot tell you how furious I am at FTD!
I recently noticed charges to my debit card in the amount of $10.00 per month from a company called Reservation Rewards. I called the 800 number provided on my statement to find out what the charges were for.
I come to find out that they got my credit card information from an order I placed on FTD.com for flowers. I was told that I signed up for their program however I never would have knowingly signed up for this, they offer no tangible products or services so there is no reason to sign up for it.
This is nothing but a scam making millions of dollars from people online. I called them and they agreed to refund me my last two charges however the last time I ordered flowers online was last summer so they have racked up about $80.00 of my hard earned money.
I am writing you this letter to:
one let you know that I will no longer purchase from you and will tell everyone I know not to as well
and two to suggest that you consider not supporting a scam such as this especially in tough times like these every dollar counts and millions of dollars are being stolen from this company who's "services" you promote and allow access to your customers. They are feeding off people and this is very wrong.
The only way I would ever buy from you again is if I saw a public announcement stating you no longer support this company!
The down side of this for me is that I have always been satisfied by your online services. Every order I placed was easy and delivered in a timely manner. I am aghast that you would allow such a company as Reservation Rewards prey on your customers. There are whole web sites and blogs dedicated to unhappy customer who have fallen prey to this scam. As our world moves to a more web savvy society this type of action will not be tolerated and companies that associate themselves with or allow scams like this to operate will suffer greatly. Consumers will not tolerate this behavior and I highly suggest you reconsider your relationship with them.
I googled the phone number 800-732-7031 and came up with lists and list of complaints about Reservation rewards. You are not the only company who allows them to prey on their clients. There is talk of class action suits and general disbelief that trusted online stores are allowing these people to get rich off unsuspecting consumers.

If you would like to discuss this matter with me I would be open to that.
An angry ex-customer, - Peter| 1 replyThis happened to me when pre-ordering a game at gamestop.com ... Needless to say I am VERY furious about this and I called Gamestop for this ... The store however did not know anything about this ... So I emailed help@gamestop.com ... still waiting for their reply .... This is ridiculous

- Tayla replies to Michael MathoI just found out as well. Does anyone know a Lawyer who can begin the process for this class action. This is against the law. I am ready to take action immediately!
- Peter - second post replies to PeterI had this problem when I bought a game from Gamestop.com online. I promptly emailed gamestop about these thieving activities and this was their reply:
Dear Customer,
At the end of a purchase from GameStop.com/EBgames.com we have a link to the Reservation Rewards program. They offer customers the opportunity to receive an electronic gift voucher for GameStop.com/EBgames.com if the customer would like to sign up for a trial membership with Reservation Rewards.
In order to sign up for this program customers would have to type their email address twice and click on the button labeled YES, I have read and agree to the Offer and Billing Details and authorize GameStop.com/EBgames.com to securely transfer my name, address and credit or debit card information to Reservation Rewards for billing and benefit processing. I understand that the first 30 days of benefits are free and that I will be billed $12 a month thereafter and may cancel my membership at any time.
Thank you for your feedback concerning the program. We respect your opinion and will take your remarks into consideration as we evaluate the benefits and value this program has for our customers.
Best Regards,
John
Customer Service Supervisor
Well, … Needless to say that they lost me as a customer because I NEVER did what they say and surely NEVER gave anyone the right to steal money out of my account. So if this is Gamestop’s point taken then I will take my business elsewhere from now on. My only hope is that other people will too, so they don’t get scammed out of their hard earned money for nothing.
Be warned, these sites allow this scamming apparently ... - CBemisI was getting monthly charges of $12. I called them and they said I "signed up" after ordering from Art.com. They offered to refund $12. I said that I've been getting charged for months. Then they offered to refund $24. I told them, "Look, I've been getting charged for four months and would appreciate a full refund!" She quickly (and rudely) said that she would have to look over my account to verify this. 5 seconds later she said that she would issue a refund for the four charges. We'll see in a few days if I ever see that money...especially since my card has been cancelled.
- AndrewYup they ripped me off for 3 months, called and sent an email and they said id get 36 dollars in 3-5 business days
- Caller: reservation rewards

- Lucygirl replies to Brian EvansYes, it happened to me too.
I learned a big lesson. My charges went all the way back to 12/06. They have been charging $10 on my cc since.
I investigated it and they scammed me when I made a purchase on LILLIAN VERNON. I guess I clicked on a coupon that I could use for the purchase and that is how they got me. This Rsv Rewards is affiliated with Entertainment coupons.
Funny thing is, if I was part of this coupon rewards, I NEVER received a coupon offer via email.
SCAM!!!!!!! Why are these people allowed to do this? I will never purchase anything on line again. - CharlesI was chages $12.00 on my credit card. When I called the number they told me it was from when I purchased airline tickets online with Continental Airlines. The guy I spoke to on the phone said he cancelled by membership and the $12.00 will be refunded back to my card in 2-5 days.... I wonder if I will ever see it again?
- Caller: Reservation Rewards (????)
- Tessa replies to Brian EvansThis is true. It comes from the fandango website. They give your name, email and credit card info to these people. They sign you up for a 30 day trial and then start charging you a few days before the trial is up. They are very willing to give you your money back if you catch it before te trial is up but if your not an avid account checker then you don't realize you have been charged till it it to late. I strongly suggest you watch what sites you give your card info to.
- Betty replies to Michael MathoHello i just found out my account is getting debited out by these people i just called and they said they canceled my membership but i never applied for any of their services they said they have gotten it out of my account before without my notice it some how slipped by but she confirmed when i called that it had been taken out before i just dont know how many times... I dont know what to do u seem like u have a great idea so im in How do we get this done? amwrthw8ngold@hotmail.com
- MWMDGot scammed for $48 ordering Xmas cards through Shutterfly. Probably related to the same $10 discount on the order which we probably never received.
Citibank called them (via the number or their own private line, since the citi-rep seemed familiar with this situation) and 3-way'ed us. "Steven" in Arizona (ReservationRewards has offices in CT and AZ) was quite helpful in identifying the culprit referral and in cancelling my "account" and "access". He wanted my email but gave my postal address instead.
distasteful hook. easy fix. easily missed for 4 months.
While there are legalities here, the practice is deceptive. I wonder how much business and revenues are accrued by this.- Caller: Reservation Rewards

- dmacI got hosed for 2 months at 12.00 a month had to call the 800 number to cancel my "membership" is was FTD.com that got me so much for getting flowers online
- Nanty replies to Michael MathocOUNT ME IN FOR THAT CLASS A LAWSUIT NANTY@DALASKA.COM
- Kasey| 1 replyI thought that the $12 were 2-pack cigarette purchases, because around here, that's how much it costs. Turns out, I was scammed. I've been cheated two months in a row. I canceled my card number and called Reservation Rewards and they told me that I signed up for the membership as well when I bought Dark Knight tickets on movietickets.com, which I didn't, might I add. Now, they won't even send me the confirmation email. I will be careful now, when purchasing any items online. This is ridiculous
