Sixty-three entries on this thread and I count about 40 as shill posts.  A 63% shill rate is pretty good evidence that this is basically a scam of some sort.  I'd ignore and block any calls received from these CIDs or this number.  It's always best to stick with a brick and mortar pharmacy that you and your medical professionals feel comfortable with.   If you have any questions, talk to your pharmacist on a face-to-face basis.  Prescription drugs are strictly regulated by both the federal and state governments.

Express Scripts.  It was a recorded message, not a live human, telling me that the prescription I picked up last week has been approved by Medicare.  Legit but that means nothing anymore as it's now easy to spoof caller ID numbers.  As always, I never answer a call unless I am expecting it, not even if you're in my phone book.  You gotta leave a message and tell me you're going to call me right back.

You're correct! I got two new very expensive medications that needed approval via Express Scripts who my husbands company issued insurance uses for scripts.. They're not spam or collection company...

People who are overly paranoid about 800 calls so they won't answer any need to pay their bills so they won't need to fear every 800 caler.. Some such as that from 8007532851 are important unless they don't want or need their meds

I received a call from this number.  Supposedly the number is from Express Scripts - some kind of prescription express service.  They had to have gotten my number from a doctors office or clinic.  I did not solicite the call.

This is Express Scrips. They are our prescription insurance company

I received a call from this number on my cell phone and home phone that as appeared unknown.  It was Express Scripts a mail order drug company that I think took over Medco.

That is so true.  In this day and age with all the SPAM out there you would think they would identify themselves.   I don't answer numbers I don't know.

Left a pre-recorded voicemail calling themselves Express Scripts, talking about my some of my prescriptions being over the coverage limit.

They knew my name and I've never heard of them or the MedCo others are referencing.

Medco was bought out by Express Scripts several years ago.  They both use any tactic they can to cheat people out of money for the prescriptions they need.  Many insurance companies use them as there are really only two options, the other being CVS Caremark.
They should not be leaving a message like that on your voicemail to begin with.
I doubt this is really them, but is a spoofed number to make it look like they are calling.

Left a recorded message.  Name of person they were calling was not anyone we know.   Furthermore, this group does not supply any medications to us.

Pre-recorded message from Express Scripts confirming prescription authorization for an extenuating circumstance.

I almost didn't answer since there was not an area or location that showed up with the call, only a 1-800 number.  However, it turned out to be an automated message informing me they had received the additional information needed and my prescription had been covered

They're not trying to sell you a drug. They're contracted by your insurance company for drug coverage and it's a courtesy call letting you know whether the drug you tried to fill (at your preferred pharmacy) is covered or not.

Surprisingly, in all the time I have had insurance, I have never ever received a phone call from either Express Scripts or CVS Caremark.  I have always received a letter in the mail telling me whether it was approved or not and how to appeal the decision.  The reason they do that is that it is required by law to protect your health.  So, oops, looks like you must be one of the scammers making these calls.
