Got a call from 800-772-1413 today -- they left no message on answering machine.

They keep calling and wont tell me what it is in regards to because I wont let them know if I am Laura or not.  Finally I googled and I believe that this is for a collection that is from 1994...almost 14 years old.  I have paid my debt by dealing with bad credit for 11 of those 14 years.  The statute of limitation is 4 years in PA.   I have now turned my credit around and haven't been late in 13 years on any payments.  I am not sure how they can harass me when this is a debt that has fallen beyond the the statute of limitation rule and has been written off by the company.  These people are very rude also.  They will not even give their full name when asked or the name of their company when you ask.

Calls 1-2 times a day on a private unlisted phone number. I never answer when I don't know who is calling.

Was away for 2 months and this number had called at least 6 times on answering machine.  We are on Do Not Call List (over 4 years).  They called today when I was home and when asked who, what, when, why the lady hung up and didn't cooperate.

Called me out of the clear bill and told me that I owed a jewelry company 19.00 from....get this.....1987 !!!  That was 21 years ago...are they that desperate ????????  I laughed at them and told them they are KOOKOO !

I received my call at 9:27am on a Sunday morning.  You can report them to the Better Business Bureau.  I called the number back, left a message, and said that if they ever call again, I will report them.  Since you all took the time to look them up online, please file a complaint and let's put this annoying company out of business (or at least maybe they'll incur fines and revise their business practices).

On a side note, I do have some home and school loans, but nothing outstanding or in collections.  I have an extremely common last name and we're listed under the first initial "S", which makes me a common target.

called asking for a name I did not recognize as even that of the previous holders of my home number. I notified the lady that he did not reside at this residence which confused her to no end and prompted her to ask if I even KNEW the guy. She then said thanks and hung up. Hopefully I won't hear from her again.

ASking me to call Kim Jackson at 866-909-X529 ext 57102.  Didn't get the entire phone number.  But they are calling on my cell, no one but who I want to know should have my cell number! Asking to speak to me on a "personal" matter.

Had to *69 this number (800) 772-1413 because I screen ALL my calls thru the answering machine ... but for some reason, there was no message, just 30 sec. of an annoying HISS sound as if a modem/fax line were being used.
Hopefully they'll just give up calling me as I have NO credit issues!

Got a call on my aswering machine from 800-772-1413 at 11:04 AM PDT with a  different number to call back on - Said it reagrded a dedt collection. Since I have no outstanding debts I will ignore

@ Kristy who made the first post on this number... They don't care if you have no debts, they don't even care if they have the right person or number, they will continue to call from various numbers.

I answered thier call once some time ago and they ask for someone named Bradley. I informed them no "Bradley" had ever lived here, even since the house was built. They continue to call every week. I am currently in the process of blocking all thier numbers since looking up thier numbers is very easy, they usually have many complaints.

Got a call on my cell phone which is a number I give no one and on my house phone which is unlisted and I have only had for 5 months! They did not leave a company name just a different phone number and some guy name Robert (I believe). He never said it was for a debt just that they were looking for me and a phone number to contact. I have debt but it is being handled by other companies. I will not be calling back.

Today I received about the 7th or 8th robot call in several months call from these folks.  I have not a clue what they are trying to collect.  They have never mailed me anything.  A few minutes research on the web shows them to be unresponsive and unpleasant to deal with.  

I'm on the state and federal do not call list, for what it's worth.  I guess I'll write to their CEO and the Massachusetts A.G.'s office in a (probably futile) attempt to get them to stop calling me.

Ironically, many year ago I worked for a successful collection agency.  We almost never got nasty with anyone--for the simple reason that it's not an effective way to collect debts!

This number comes up as "800 service" and they never leave a message. Glad I found this sight!

They were rude would not answer any questions until they spoke with the my wife. Told me my wifes business was not my concern. Why don't these jerks get a life.

Got a call from "STEPHANIE"  I asked her where she was calling from and she said from "VIRGINIA". I told her not to be a smart alec and tell me what company she called from and she told me it was a private business matter, so I hung up.

Received call from these people, no one was home at the time and no voicemail message. From the sound of it they're trying to collect on a debt, most likely for the previous holders of my phone number.

I told these jerks to quit calling me. I told them that the FDCPA puts the burden on them to prove that I am the debtor they are looking for. I am keeping a list of these calls and I am turning it over the Virginia and Arizona authorities. I sent a letter return receipt and certified. I also sent a letter to the NY Stock Exchange as well as the SEC.
