caller ID read 800-800-8100. Caller hung up when we answered main number with our company name.

I received a call from that # yesterday neither my Husband or I are computer people so when the man asked if we were having promblems with our computer was happy to hear when he said there was a problem with our desktop model !! I told the man I had to leave soon he said it would only take a few minutes if I allowed him remote access.... So without thinking about it I did ! He showed me where my security was down and then showed me how many viruses I had on my computer!!!I was completely shocked.. Then he told me he could fix it all for $279.00 !! I told him that was complete BS and I would go return my computer since I just got it a few months ago!!  he said he could drop the price to $179.00 . I told him that I was to busy to deal with him but would call him back when I got home.. He said he wouldn't be there and he would call me back this morning...I said whatever and hung up .. When I returned home I looked at my PC and saw that he never disconnected from my computer after his call !! he had been on my computer from 10 am till 2pm !!! I was horrified at what I allowed !! I ended up having to call a reliable computer support center and he showed me that they had planted spyware and other viruses on my computer!!! So now I have a clean and protected computer !!! I also received 9 calls from the fraud guy today...

Had a call from this number from a male with mid-eastern accent.  Said he was from Microsoft & I needed to check my drivers & he would help me!!!!  I said I was not interested & hung up, knowing full well this is a scam!!!

Got a call from 800-800-8100. this morning in PA. My friend, who lives else where, also got a call from the same horrors yesterday. Someone sold a list. This is so intrusive, irritating, and wrong. I guess it is the same, a Microsoft scam. Get a real job. ,

Receive this call from 1-800-800-8100.  I called Microsoft to verify the purpose of this call and Microsoft do NOT call their customers. I managed not to go on my computer as directed and get this person telephone number 201-384-3496 his name is Rick Daniels and the call comes from Dumont, New Jersey.

Just got a phone call from   800 800 8100.  Her name is Krystal.  Said that they are an affiliate of Microsoft and that I had a lot of Trojans which they needed to clean up.  I told her, hey give me a break as my computer just got overhauled and all garbage is gone.  Nothing on the other end.  I yelled,  you know you're just a scam, so stop playing with me.  I told her that I know exactly who she is and guess what..SHE HUNG UP.

Be really careful people.  I have gotten scammed big time.  I didn't think it could happen to me.  Try  $300 worth.  My credit card company took care of the charges.   And I believe that other clients had the same thing,   so the Card company is pressing charges.

Look out everybody. 800-800-8100 is a SCAM is here to SPAM his user name three times, kidnap your kids and teens for his disgusting sex games at a secret location on a un-inbahatied island off the coast of Cape Cod. QUICK! Somebody call 911 and tell them GeForce sent ya!

I received a call from New York and when the answering machine came on the voice was so garbled you could not understand anything they were saying. The telephone number they called from was 516-800-8100. So they are using a toll free number also 800-800-8100 too. I believe it is a scam also.

This morning,i got the same phone call.I knew that it was a scam,they had called me eariler in the week at 1:00am in the morning.As soon as i said that nothing was wrong and i'm calling the police,they hung up.I did call 911 and got ahold of their IT department.They said that it was the microsoft scam and to block the number thru my phone carrier.i did some more research cause i wanted to know how they got my number since they had just called me within the last month.Found out that the number came from 800notes.com,a service company,used by tigerdirect.com,a computer/service sales company that sells computers,hardware,software,etc.I had bought a computer from them in 2013 and got an upgrade from them in just recently.I was very upset when i found this out and immediately called the store from where we got the computer.I asked for the IT department and talked to a Tech.He never heard of this but said that they do use 800notes.com for online services.He was concerned about this info since i was the first to report it to him.He told me to bring it in and my computer checked since there might be some malicious spyware effecting my computer from this "800notes.com".If anyone is having similiar problems like this,contact 911 and ask for the IT department or say about the 800-800-8100 scam.It might have orginated from your computer or from this 800notes.com.This issue is very big and i'm sure theres agencies that know more than us on this scam.If more people complain and report this,the more attention this will get.

Got a call from this number 800-800-8100, middle eastern accent. Stated he was from Microsoft, fix - it !! Said he needed to fix some connection problems with my pc, when I explained I had a Grandbaby trying to take a nap, he asked when would be a batter time? Really a better time?? I in turn asked where he was located, New Jersey was his reply, my interrogation questions about the exact city in NJ and a return phone number....gave me 201-982-3492. Which I immediately called with no answer, straight to an answering service....then looked them up and found all these comments....really do they have nothing better to do with their lives.....God bless you and your company, may His paths be your destination!!

Got same call from this number and he said he wanted to update my drivers. I hung up on him.

I got a call from this number from a male saying that he was from Microsoft and calling me because in my area there had been a lot of problems reported with Windows.  He wanted to show me what the problem was and wanted to make sure my pc was on.  He said that he could show me what was causing the problems that are working behind the scene when I was using my pc.  This sounded highly suspicious to me and I told him that if I did have any problems, I know how to contact the proper persons.  He tried to out talk me, therefore, I told him that I did not believe or trust what he was saying, then I hung up.

same thing happened to me....asked his name and company hung up,,,..

Have gotten several calls saying they were with the technical department of Widows!  Woke me up and I was not very polite - can something not be done about these "losers"????  They are relentless and on another call was extremely nasty to me when I told him I didn't have time to listen.  There is enough to deal with at this time - we don't need this!

Someone who sounded like they were from India called my cell phone and were trying to finagle information out of me about my computer and the Windows Operating System.  It was a brief conversation, but I kept them on there long enough to see where they were going!!  They were telling me they going my information from an online survey (I do NOT put my cell phone as a contact).  

same here folks!those people with that company are persistent and have even been on every news media outlet in the north east for a week now for attempting to scam the elderly,stupid,and anyone else that is willing to open up to them!Do not disclose any info or stay on the phone with them!They can and will decrypt your stuff and enter your computer!Beware!Call and report them then next time they call blow a bullhorn in the phone......they wont call any more!

They called 7 times today in less than one hour. They don't pick up their end of the line. I threatened to call the Telecommunications Commission in my state and they hung up. Now on call 8.Which just happened as I typed this.

I got a call from this number and I screamed at him telling him I don't believe his crap and he was speechless. I hung up and called Microsoft they did a police report on the guy, they told me to call another number and report it as well.
