I just got a call for the first time tonight
im 18 and just out of high school... still a dependent... not even starting college yet... and I am getting calls from a medical collection agency???
Why isn't my insurance notifying me about this?
and what really wierds me out is that ppl on this message board have gotten a call from the same number... but the caller has been RMCE  and  AMCA...
how is that possible... or am I missing something?

voice message from "MCA Credit": I should call 800-80-40-075. Never heard of them

I am getting phone calls for a person who I no longer associate with.  When I try calling them.  They will not delete my phone number unless I give them the number to reach the person who they are trying to contact.  I did mentioned if they want to talk to my lawyer or have my lawyer call them.  They better delete my number.

Who are these AMCA caller from 1-800-804-0057 about a debt I am not in the know of? Could these people be restrained from making scam calls. If they are serious about their authenticity and the alleged debt, let them write and send me mail.

Fine, if the Agency is legitimate, why does it hung up when calls are made to respond? Why would you not write and provide details of the debt, which may have been overlooked for one reason or an other. Ostrich

Call came in to my personal home phone at 10:45 Sunday morning. The left a message saying they were a debt collector leaving a number to phone back. When I phoned back, a message said that they only accepted calls between 8AM and 8PM Monday through Thursday.

Called them right back and the gal on the phone asked if my name was Sarah XXXX, I told her no and that this was a new telephone number for us since July 2008, she promptly removed the number from her records (so she says).  We'll see if that fixed it.

AMCA at 1- 800-804-0057 called me a couple of recent times. They explained they’re from a dept collection agency, and claimed that a medical doctor bill is owed. It’s quite puzzling as they seem very fishy and mysterious. When I told my doctor’s assistant, regarding the matter, she claims that she and the doctor are NOT connected and have NO relation to AMCA at 1-800-804-0057.

Therefore, AMCA should NOT be bothering people over the phone. Persistent harassing phone calls are intrusions of peoples’ privacy. They should have something written in writing. Otherwise, how does one know who they really are?!

To boot, they’re preying on a person with disabilities! I’d like for them to leave me alone. There must be some kind of advice to make them stop persistently calling and harassing me and other people. So, what can one do?

The dumb call came around 8 in the morning saying that my husband had to pay a debt.  I called AMCA back and was on hold forever and then finally after all the music a recording came on that said "If you'd like to make a call..."  Ridiculous.  I was not about to give them any information and I really hope no body else does either.  Don't trust this bull.

Got this call from AMCA and a message saying that they are debt collection company and the information provided are attend to the debt purpose. I paid every bill and never have debt. When I call back, no one was answering. Don't provide any information to them!

been getting these calls for a few weeks now.  voice recording left message saying things about debt collection.  i have no debts.  call the number and all i get is elevator music.  wtf?

They left a voicemail..just a recorded message.  Not sure what it was since it was cut off.

Been getting mystery calls, and got this number. These people are harassing us and not answering the line on the "1-800-804-0057" number they give.

If you work for them, then you are party to a phone fraud.
