I have received 2 calls from them so far and have never had in the past or plan in the future to use Sprint. Every time  my phone is used by a number that is not my carrier I pay a fee. I am disabled and low income and  cannot afford these extra charges. Seems to me a class action lawsuit  is what needs to be done to stop them.

You are so naive...Yeah...like that will work. Besides, since they are a zombie collector and not telemarketers the Do Not Call list law does NOT apply to them.

James....I'm sorry to have to say it but you are more naive than Rho (several posts back.) These zombie collectors (or telemarketers for that matter) do not read 800-Notes! They have hundreds of lines they use to call people and switch out the numbers on a regular basis. Do you think they are searching here for people who give their name and/or phone numbers and tell 800-Notes not to call anymore? You just wasted whatever few minutes you used to type that out.

Received a call from them.. didn't answer whomever.. and I have No connections with Sprint.

I've had this number for about six months but still seem to be getting Annoying calls meant for the previous owners..

Do you have any suggestions for all the people that have said that they DON'T HAVE SPRINT service???  Should they pay someone else's bill?

Got 21 calls from this # and hung up on every one. I never had Sprint and will never use them. These people are obnoxious.

I am receiving this number, 800-806-3342, on my work number caller ID several times a day for several years.  They do not leave a message.

You ppl are too funny...it is a collections agency for Sprint. If you have such a problem with them calling you repeatedly, PAY YOUR BILL, it obviously isn't there fault your bill is the a collections agency, but I'm sure your gonna put the blame somewhere haha

and by the way...if u hang up on them it wont stop the calls either.They cant help you clear up anything if you refuse to talk to them, ie: wrong numbers...fraud...old bills you forgot to pay! this crap can get on your credit report and it's serious not worth it to ignore cuz you are scared of an 800 number  :)

I have never had Sprint service, and now, never will. I don't owe them a dime. I simply blocked their number.

I received calls from this number on both my work and home phones.  The message left is not from a live person.  When I ignored (deleted) daily messages on my home phone, calls started to my work phone. The person they are asking about has never been attached to either of my phone numbers as far as I know, nor have they lived at my address.   I always pay my Sprint bill on time so have no idea why I continue to be harassed.

These people have called me every day for the past two months. I keep my phone on silent so i always miss the calls. They never leave a message. It's pretty annoying. One day I'll pick up and they'll be sorry!

I have received 110 phone calls from this #. I have never had Sprint and NEVER want to. I call the FTC but they are closed this week. I will report these scabs next week. They were already fined 1.75 million. Guess we;ll just have to fine them again. I have the number blocked, and it is a robo call, so they will never stop. These clowns are ruthless, rude, and relentless!!!

If you think its funny then why did you look it up? Have you not paid your bill?

The fact is MOST of the people here are complaining about the calls because they DO NOT owe any money to Sprint and never have! That means anyone making calls to collect money for a Sprint bill is ILLEGAL!

I have received calls from this number and ignored it. I almost always look up the number before I ever pick up a call from someone I do not know and I DO NOT HAVE A SPRINT ACCOUNT AND NEVER HAVE!
That means any calls to me by this company would be ill4egal since I have never done business with them or with the company they do business for. If they call again and I tell them to never call me again and they do within 1 year, they will be eligible for a $10,000 fine per call. That's "fine" by me!

I receive about 100 calls each year from collection companies and they are never for me – I owe NO ONE a penny. I have never had a late payment made – NOT ONCE – in 40 years of living on my own and paying my bills. When they call me and ask for someone else I tell them I’m not that person and their calling me is illegal. Some have argued with me saying they can call all they want and it’s legal, even when it isn’t for me. I remind them they are a for-profit business and I have never done business with them or with the company they are doing business for. That makes their call to me illegal and they can be fined $10000 for each call. Some, usually the ones calling themselves a “law firm” say they are lawyers and know they calling legally. I ask them to prove that to me and if they are claiming to be a lawyer and are not that in alone could be a crime. They lie to you all the time and most are NOT law firms at all, they think saying they are will make people more willing to hand over money.

But the point is: FOR-PROFIT COMPANIES CAN NOT CALL YOUR NUMBER AGAIN FOR AT LEAST 1 YEAR ONCE YOU TELL THEM THEY ARE CALLING THE WRONG PERSON AND TO NOT CALL AGAIN.
IF THEY CALL AGAIN IT IS ILLEGAL.

If you do owe money to the company they are calling about, pay it or quit complaining, unless they are not following the laws.

If you don’t owe the money or you’re not the person, remember:

If you are the person, ask them to send a fully documented invoice by mail – it’s the law - and never hand over the money by phone. You will need the invoice to dispute the charges or make a payment.
If you make the payment – KEEP COPIES OF EVRYTHING.
If you dispute the charges do so within 30 days of receiving the invoice and follow all instructions.

If you are not the person, tell them that and to never call again – if they do call within 1 year they are in violation of federal law.
You can ignore the calls and should not feel threatened. You should file a formal complaint with date, time and their company name and call info with the FTC so it’s documented and if the FTC can take action against the company and hopefully they will be fined appropriately.
If they call you at work, file more complaints.
If they start calling your relatives and friends, file more complaints.

Today I received another call from the above number and when I responded a "Amy Rhodes" immediatly asked me for personal data. When I requested she needs to identify on what behave she was requesting such details she immediatly became hostile and agressive. I highly caution to be forthcomming with any personal info to collection agencies, especially if the have 942 complaints with BBB and a F rating...
Yes, I am in dispute with Sprint. I returned my phone as requested to be deducted from a final bill - I have never received this invoice. However SPRINT is clearly pushing their agenda - I too recommend not to deal with SPRINT. I personally spend hours on the phone getting my billing ammended to no avail. Keep all yoru receipts, make notes about every communication you have. It's quite stunning how little protection there is when corporations spin their story. Inbetween there are some silly peeps with enough time "picking" on the messages shared on here. I feel sorry for anyone having to bicker through the maze of today's error in billings. If such characters indeed have humanity and " a better character..." they would be more impressive by activelly asisting, not mocking.

Got four calls from 800-806-3342 today. I have gotten over 200 calls from this number since September. I don't have Sprint and never have. They were sued by the FTC for 1.75 million dollars for  and I quote:

Allied Interstate, Inc. continued collection efforts even after consumers told the company they did not owe the debt, without verifying the accuracy of the disputed information. Allied is a Minnesota corporation that works out of offices in the United States, Canada, India, and the Philippines. The company also allegedly made improper harassing phone calls to consumers, using abusive language or calling many times a day for weeks or months, sometimes hanging up when the calls were answered. In addition, the complaint charges that Allied made repeat calls to third parties seeking to locate a consumer, revealed alleged debts to third parties without the consumers’ consent or court permission, and threatened legal action against consumers it did not intend to take. The complaint alleges that these practices violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act.

PLEASE, call the FTC at 877-382-4357 and file a complaint. The more people who complain the faster this will be resolved. Let's stop these intrusive and harassing phone calls.

how do you know its not true, just because you dont want to believe it??  that dont mean its not true....
infact it makes  sense that that is the way it is..and it is most likely true

I'm sick and tired of the harassment!  They call 3-4 times a day, and sometimes there isn't even anyone on the other end, or they just don't bother saying anything!!
