I am currently working in Iraq.  They are calling my mother and telling her that if she will fax them my last 4 and date of birth then they can discuss it further. That's all they will tell her.

I am not delinquent on any payments to my knowledge and verified this with my bank.

They call my pay as you go cell phone constantly.  Four to five times a day they call and leave messages on my voicmail asking me to call them back.  I answered once and they told me they were looking for someone with different names.  Now they are even calling at 2:45am.  I don't know how to stop them from calling.  Each time they call it costs me.

I am getting calls from this number on my cell for someone I don't know, have never heard of. When I answer, I tell them that the person they are looking for is not associated with this phone number and to cease calling. That has not happened. Am getting 3-4 calls a day and, yes, it costs me when they call. It is really a pain. Now that I know the name of the company, I'm going to write them and demand they stop and copy the attorney general. Sometimes I have a recorded message and sometimes they just hang up. Is there a way to block a call on your cell?

Block Calls replies to Wrong Person - won't Stop
Yes there is a way to block calls on your cell.  All you have to do is go in your settings on your phone and set your incoming calls to only accept calls from people in your contacts.  Depending on what kind of phone you have.

I've been getting this phone call daily now for 2 weeks. Today was the first day the recorded message actually went to my cell phone's voicemail. I have no clue why they're calling me. I have zero debt. No mortage on my house. No school loan. No car payment. I never had a Sprint phone. If they keep calling me I'm going to set up my computer/fax and put their 800 number into it and set it to redial for a week straight so everytime they pick up they get a nice fax machine squeal. If they do set the line to pick up the fax it's going to to be a 500 page document with nonsense. I suggest everyone do the same!

these people call me day and night, with a call at least every other day. Usually I don't answer (and they don't leave a voicemail), but when I do answer they ask for someone who I've never heard of and I ask them to stop calling. Finally, I told them I didn't know that person and if they call my number again I would report them. So far, haven't gotten a call back. Total scammers!

Well, they called me again with the annoying message. I reported it twice now to www.donotcall.gov because it's illegal to leave a recorded message.

I have now set up my PC to redial and fax the 800 number. Let me tell you - it's sooooo fun to hear them answer and then getting mad.

Not fun when you receive annoying phone calls, is it?

Of course, use *67 before entering their number so it's caller ID blocked.

Remember - 800 numbers are free to call - they're not free to have!

These clowns call 2-3 times a day every day -  fortunately it goes to my outgoing line which I never answer so all their calls go to voicemail - once when I was curious and picked up I got a recording to press a number to talk to someone. I did and then they staring asking personal information - In my normal courteous fashion (NOT) I said to F**K off, take my name off their list and then hung up. I also placed notice on the gov't's do not call - but that seems to never do any good.

BWT I have no debts and have never ever been late with a payment - so whatever they want they can **** it.

i also have had the pleasure of recieving these calls from this number 1-800-806-3342, and they said they were from allied collections regarding my sprint bill, and wanted my last 4 of my social, they already knew it they said, then they read it out to me, and they were right they did know it. appearently they are a collection agency, an immorral collection agency but one none the less. as of today they have called me about 25 times regarding my sprint bill. i told them that i was not going to be paying it because sprint added about 400 extra minutes over the limit to my account, and about 90 extra text messages which i did not use, i told them i wouldn't pay for something i haven't done! in total it came out to about a $500 bill, normally i pay $120 a month, now they want me to pay them $500. my wife used to work for SPRINT, she has told me in the past that members of the managers staff, and all the higher ups get phones and free minutes and free texts, basically free everything, and we the consumer pays for it. usually it's a couple extra minutes a month on our accounts, and a few extra text messages, stuff that the normal person won't notice, and that way you just go right ahead and pay for it, we pay for the a@$holes to have free phones and free usage! they are taking advantage of us, and i think it's about time we ALL rebel, start a revalution, overthrow the big companies, and anything else that deserves it. anyone or any company( the goverment is a company also) that tries to bully, and trick the very people who make their existence possible into being dooped and belittled should kneel before a revolution, i mean where is the morality, and the love? maybe we all should show them what tough love is, anyway sorry for venting, felt good though-everyone stand up for yourselves, and stand up for what you beleive in, be good, goodbye!

Just got a call from them. A guy saying "knock his brains out with a 15 lb dumbbell" then silence on the line. Yes, we have an unpaid bill from Sprint. They refused to cancel our account after repeated phone calls. We are not paying them for this fraudulent last bill.

I have received a notice in the mail for a friend of mine from this Allied Interstate debt company. They are a real debt collection agency but tacky none the less. I offered to set up four months worth of payments to pay off my friends debt after already paying the last three months but they wanted to charge me as a 3rd party $11.25 per each transaction so an extra $45.00 over four months. I refused because the previous payments that I paid with my credit card they did not charge me so why would I start paying now. Also, the representative Freddie was very inattentive and talking to coworkers while I was attempting to gather all of the details of the bill. The representative put the "supervisor" Fransico on the phone who threatened my as if it was my bill. I am a Senior Credit Advisor and I work with all of the new credit card laws from the government so I know a little about the bill but the supervisor told me to settle, I refused because this will stay on the credit for 7-10 years (avoid this if you can). Also, the supervisor told me that he had the power to remove this from the credit bureau report. This is false because my friend lost his job and has been unable to pay (thus the collection notice) so if he were to "remove" the reporting he would be falsifying documents because my friend is genuinely past due. I just think they are tacky because they use belittling measures to get payments. Also, my friend lost his phone service because of the collection process and I receive back to back calls at least 3-4 every other day. Get a clue - I will not answer if you can't work with me. I have been blessed to be employed and my credit is in good standing considering the economy. I am a human 1st and a consumer 2nd. :)

The number that I have been receiving the calls from is 1-800-806-3342.

P.S. I am attempting to help my friend out who has lost everything. Do you think that I am wasting my time to call to say I am not paying? Allied Interstate, Inc. learn to treat people like HUMANS because you can catch more flies with honey than you can with vinegar. :-)
