What can one do to get these people to stop calling? I have never ever had a sprint account, they keep calling and calling and calling. I have had the number blocked but yet they seem to be able to get by it and keep on calling me and funny thing is it is not even for me....

This phone number is associated with a scam. These people call my number several times each day.  The first time I answered, they asked for someone who does not live here and someone I do not know. I told them they have the wrong number.
The caller phoned me again and claimed I owed money to Sprint for cell phone service. I HAVE NEVER HAD A SPRINT cellphone and told the caller this. I asked who they were calling for and they would not say, but they
WANTED MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER to determine who I was!?

These are CRIMINALS trying to steal your identity! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!!!

800-806-3342 has called my number 10x in the last 2 days, and hang up when they get my answering machine. I am also on the Do not Call list and nobody in my home has ever used Sprint. Must be a scam, but they should be prosecuted for all the complaints I am seeing online about them. It seems Florida knows who they are and Sprint knows who they are and yet do nothing. Who is accountable? And, how do I make the calls stop?

Call me at least twice a day at my work phone number. They never leave a massage and I don't take calls from toll free numbers at work. Nothing but annoying.

I have never had a Sprint account either. I don't owe anyone any money.

Same experience as mentioned above. They call and ask for someone we don't know and then want social security numbers to "verify" identities.

Obviously a scam. Obviously criminals. Obviously do not give them your social security  number.

Just don't answer calls from these criminal types and block them.

I got a call from these people today. And looked the number up on the web.  I read many of the comments from above and I doubt these calls are about Sprint, for I have never had Sprint cell phone service.
I think the comments concerning spam/telemarking/criminals is most likely the correct scenario.

The caller said I owed money to Sprint for cell phone service. I have never had Sprint AND they called me on my cell phone which is with another carrier!!!! Scam, scam, scam, scam!
