- Call type: Debt collector
- Fed UpNumerous calls from this number.
I have no accounts in arrears.
Appears that these folks go fishing for folks with a similar name and call any available phone number they think is the person they are looking for at the time. They then go on fishing expeditions for information.- Caller: Allied Interstate

- joycrazy people, kept calling my number... so i called back, hang-up on me. nobody answered, dont wast my time to check who calls me...
- aljeaI have begun getting these calls a few weeks ago and dont know why. The weird thing is when it calls and I answer, it says "This is not a sales call." then I either just hear background noise for a second and it hangs up or the first time, someone asked if (my 1st name) was there. I asked "who is this" and the phone hung up. Its not like they hang up, but its like we get disconnected. I dont owe anyone money so dont understand what all this is about
- AnetteThe call 3-4 times a day and no one is ever there
- Caller: 18008063342
- KELLY| 1 replyThey call numerous times a day with me! I finally called them back and I asked who they were and the rep automatically said that they were calling for Nick Williams. When I asked how they came up with that name because I did not give them any info she hung up! So I called back and tried to explain this to a lady there and she hung up. Finally when I called back I asked if they were a legit company because they do not seem legit she said they were and they were associated with Sprint and Nextel. I told her about the previous incident and she asked for my name and number, but I let her know obviously you have my# just stop calling people period!!!! I don't have a Sprint phone, this is a scam and I would not give them any info!!
- Caller: ALLIED INTERSTATE
- Call type: Prank
- KELLY replies to KELLYAnd I do not have any debts either!! So there should be no reason to call me and then make a fake name up at that!!!!
- KELLYI say we just all start calling them and harassing them to see how they like it!!!!!!!!!!!

- kaseyThis number has called me atleast 8 times a day they will call and then 20 minutes later they will call again. I have told them before that the person they are looking for doesn't have this number and that we dont know that person but they still call every day! Isn't it some sort of harassment?
- Caller: 18008063342
- LarryThese people are idiots.
They've been told numerous times that they person they are trying to reach doesn't live here. In fact I've never heard of the person they're trying to call.
But that doesn't deter them, they continue to call.
I've asked them if it wouldn't be a good idea for them to stop calling here and to try to figure out the actual phone number of the person they're trying to reach...but that concept seems to be too complicated for them to understand.
So they continue to call me.
Morons. - Kansas fellowWhen call came in I said "hello" then, "This is John." I waited for a response. A few moments later someone came online, with background noise like a call center or busy office environment. It sounded like an ebonic male voice who offered a staccato monosyllabic, "Lo? Lo?" then hung up after about one second of silence. I have an invoice with Sprint in dispute for two hundred dollars for disconnecting five cell telephones over poor service. The two hundred is an "early disconnect fee" which I refuse to pay since their service and support was so poor. I have now blocked the caller on my AT&T cell phone. Under federal law, collection calls are not allowed on cell phones once you have reported your number to the national do not call list, unless the caller has a written agreement (eg, sales contract) permitting the calls. www.donotcall.gov is the website. It's for telemarketers, which is what collection calls from those without contracts are considered.
- Caller: Wish I knew
- Grandme replies to S.J.LOWEMake a list on your computer of annoying phone calls date, time, who, phone number what was said.
Then if they try to bounce back on you then you have a list of how many times that they are calling. It's harassing and you can file a really big claim, there's a $1000 - $1500 charge against rhem and they have to pay it. Look up Title 15 of the USC code. - Grandme| 1 replyI just got a call from this number asking for someone else I think that they search the phone book and call all the way down the list by last names :(
- B. Cautious| 1 replyI too have received phone calls from this 800 listing.
Calling at all hours of the day and night, I made the mistake of answering the call once!
The person on the other end would not identify themselves and kept insisting that they wish to speak
To some lady (whose name is tyisha are something like it) I explained, I do not know anyone by that name. They all but called me a liar!.
These people not only violate my right to privacy, they also insisted on not being truthful with them.
It makes me wanna reach through my prepaid cell phone, grab them by the throat and choke them to death.
I'm sorry, but harassing phone calls tick me off.
If as I've read in the previous documentation here news arresting calls are over a cell phone bill with sprint and they definitely have the wrong number!!!
I have never had a contract phone of any sort. I'm not dumb enough to get locked into a two year agreement. I would rather have a slightly older cellphone model and pays to go.
Most mobile is wonderful. Unlimited talk, text, and web for under $50.00 a month.
And for around $170 I can get an android phone. - B. Cautious replies to B. CautiousSorry folks, that should have been boost a mobile....
- B. Cautious replies to GrandmePerhaps, but if you number is unlisted how did they get it?
I did however see a bunch of web pages that for as little as a dollar you can get the name address
