Got a call from 800-813-6128. Answered the call but no reply from the other side. Suspect it should be comcast.

Today, while at work, at Comcast, I received a phone call from this number.  After work, I tried to call them back, over an hour later, I hung up.  I then Googled the number, and found all of this........I am going to HR tomorrow at work and have them deal with this.....

I received a call from this number this morning saying that my son was incarcerated and I need to come to the station to pick him up.  Sounded very official since the person identified themselves from the Sheriff's dept and gave a name (steve jones I think it was).  Anyway, my son was upstairs, fortunately, so it was obviously a crank call.

Without a doubt, it's Comcast.  They are the only business with whom I have an account and to whom I gave my cell number.  Mistake on my part, but I won't do it again!

Called twice over 2 days to my cell. Seeing that it is Comcast, maybe I won't pick up. We just got their phone/internet/tv bundle for our new house. Hopefully they will stop calling. Thanks for the posts!

Missed call on caller ID. Did not leave message.

Answered the call and it was a Comcast survey about my recent service call to Comcast.
Took a few minutes.

This number keeps calling me and does not leaving messages. Very annoying especially because my cell is on the do not call list. I did upgrade my Comcast services about a month ago but these need to stop. If anyone knows how to remove a number from their list or block them, please let us know.

They are calling because your late on your comcast payment.

I can't stand Comcast not only does their cable and service suck, but they constantly harass their customers with survey calls. I have told them repeated times do not call me between 8 and 6 eastern time. Every day they call at 2pm eastern time.

Received 3 calls from this number in the last 4 days.  Didn't answer, and they didn't leave a msg, but they are very persistant.  I am a Comcast customer, so I wouldn't be surprised if previous posters are correct about this.  I will be contacting Comcast and requesting that they stop calling.

Didn't answer a call from this number, they hung up w/o leaving message. Keep in mind: just because they say it's Comcast doesn't make it true. These are often "phishing" expeditions, where offshore cheap labor is hired to call a huge list of numbers. They lie about who they are in order to trick you into giving your address, email and any other info they can get out of you. And it is possible to fake the caller ID, so looking it up or calling it back doesn't really mean anything.

Got a call from this #.  No response on the other line.  Lame.

you guys are ridicuous.  I missed a call from this number too - BIG DEAL!!  I'm not going to go shoot myself in the head over it like some of you.  Jesus christ.

also rec'd this on friday for comcast unwanted call. asked to be removed also and hung up- why should i use my cell phone minutes on this sutff?

Got a phone call from a number 1-800-813-6128. They didn't leave a message when I called back they said they were a service center. I hung up! This is not a collection because I don't owe anybody.

The company is Servicom http://www.servicom-llc.com/ which is a Jnet Communications Company. They run call centers for customer satisfaction surveys, ComCast is one of their customers.

Given to a foreign government? I hope you don't really think that and maybe it was a mental lapse while typing. I'm hoping for the latter (and no that is not a ladder that you climb up but is meant to refer to the second half of my previous sentence).

Received a call from this number on my cell while I was at work.  Ofcourse I didn't answer, and they didn't leave a message which doesn't suprise me (most 800 numbers don't).  I got on the net to find out who it was, and if these other posts are true, I'm pissed.  The thing that gets me is... okay, I realize I gave them my cell number because I didn't have a landline until I signed up with comcast, but since they gave me a landline, shouldn't they be calling that number??  And this telemarketing [***]... now on cellphones???  This was one of the main reasons I stopped having a landline in the first place!  Now I'm getting these calls on my cell?  What the hell?!?!
