Call comcast and tell them you need to update your account. Then just give them a phone number you no longer have.

They called me...say its comcast and they wanted to ask a few questions about my recent call in to comcast...I never called comcast though.

I think it is interesting how hard it is to reach a real person at Comcast, yet they have the resources to call and say nothing and hangup on people, to make a nuisance of themselves? I have at least two or three of these pesky ringings of my phone each week. They often show up on my answering machine, usually silent, once or twice sounding gibberish with a giggling voice in the background. If that number IS Comcast, the Comcast administration needs to check out what their hired help is doing with their money, then sit on it and focus on making their customers happy by ANSWERING CALLS MADE TO THEM!

No more unsolicited calls please

I get a call fromthis number 3 to 5 times weekly. The line rings and when I answer I get 3 to 5 seconds of dead air then disonnect. I have received this call to my voicemail and get no message. I called Comcast and reported this and Comcast denies using this number for anything. I called the number back and waited from 1910 to 1930 and received the message that all magents were busy.

Make sure all of you refister a DO NOT CALL report on this number.

Called an hour ago, left me on hold for 15 minutes before I answered.

called,answered, nobody there.. Call then disconnected

I think it is a survey for comcast! I want my name off their list and them to STOP calling me

This number called me and I missed the call.  So I called back and sat on hold, but hung up after a few minutes because it was my cell phone.  If it is Comcast, they should know that their service sucks - there's no need for a survey!

If they call back I will request to be removed and hope that works.

The caller said he was from an independent research/marketing firm, doing surveys for Comcan't.  I had signed a "do-not-share" privacy policy, which Comcast has obviously disregarded.  

The Comcast employee lied to me, and said that the marketing firm was actually part of Comcast, so it was legal for them to give out our number.  I hate liars.  

Tomorrow, the Dish Guy comes in, and Comcast will probably be calling me ad infinitum ad nauseum to beg and plead with us to return to their obnoxious company.

COMCAST!!   Here's your survey results--

1)  Your packages stink.
2)  Your prices stink.
3)  Your billing practices stink--because you mis-coded my account, you withdrew from the wrong      
     place 2 months in a row, which could have messed me up.
4)  Your installation guy left a huge black wire draped on the outside of my house!!  My husband had    
      to go in the attic and do your work for you!
5)  Your people are nice when I call about tech assistance--but I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO CALL THEM
      TWICE A WEEK ANYWAY!!
6)  Competition is good.  Don't eat the competition, it's not nice.

Received a phone call from someone from 800-813-6128.  After I said hello there was a rather long pause before anyone said anything.  Then a rather unintelligent sounding man claimed he was representing a pharmacy and was calling to verify my information so that I would not "miss receiving any" of my medications ordered through their company.  I don't buy medications over the phone or online and told him that.  I also told him to take my number off his calling list.  We'll see.

Received a call from 800-813-6128. No response from caller. Very annoying. A search on the number indicates that this is from Comcast or one of their contractors.

I just received a call from this number again....BUT, I had previously saved it in my cell as DO NOT ANSWER.  Glad I did.  But, this time, I am taking your advice and changing it to NO RING as well.

I forgot who this was, so I also used my work number to call them back, put them on MUTE and let the asian speaking lady ask ME "hello, how can I help you?" several times BEFORE I HUNG UP ON HER.

This is annoying.

Got a 'missed call' from this number, and can only say 'thanks goodness'. A quick search reveals it is a survey company, and having to use peak minutes up for this nonsense should be criminal.

Got it today.  No message.

If Comcast, may be following up after their East Coast Internet blowout on Sunday.
