I did this and am still getting calls

There is a 4th group that is exempt from the Do Not call list - Criminals. People keep moaning about the calls & they're on the DNC list. Since when do criminals follow the rule of law? THAT'S why you're getting these calls. REAL business' follow the DNC because of the fines involved. Foreign criminals could care less.

Called 3 times in less than an hour, but when I answered each time, the call disconnected within a second or two. Tried calling back, but my mobile carrier automated message says that the call cannot be completed as dialed.

We are getting 2- 3 calls per day

They asked for someone that wasn't here and then promptly hung up.

Do what I've done and turn off your answering machine.  That way you waste their time plus you don't have to listen to their CRAP!  A ringing phone doesn't bother me in the least when I know it's some political garbage.  Your name is "Unavailable"?  In that case I'm UNAVAILABLE to YOU!

I called the number back and it was a nice message telling me how to remove my number from their list. I did it and hopefully they will stop calling...

mine said that the first time, then i tried again and it went through. There is a message that tells you to press one to stop calls, and then put in your number and they will remove you... i just did it. hopefully it works.

this number has called my cell phone allday. my # is on the international DNCL so please make them stop!!!!

Still getting calls from these politicos in the Denver Metro area. Answered, nobody there, so I hung up. They call 2-3 times a day. Time to block these numbers too.

Just received 4 calls in the last hour and a half. I don't ever answer 800 or Unavailable/Unknown callers. There seem to be way too many things associated with this number to make me trust it. Also, the calls are on my cell and I hardly ever give that out, especially not to companies.

FYI The Do Not Call List only applies to telemarketers and sales. Those who call for fundraising, opinions, ect... are exempted.

I get a call from this number every two hours for months.  Last night they even called at 9:12 PM.  I called the number back and got a political message that asked me to press 1 if I wanted them to delete my number from their list.

I keep getting these annoying solicitors & servery calls left & right. Signing up for the NDNC does not work! I've signed up ages ago & re-do it yearly so that my # is updated. Yet I forever get these calls. They act like they are exempt from the Do Not Call rule. There should be a law to sue them if they persist on bothering people after being told to stop. Would never do any good since any monies awarded, the bureaucrats pocket it all. They never leave a voice message since it is # I do not recognize or know its soliciting garbage. Also the political garbage is just as bad. Only way to prevent this is to NOT have any phone at all. :(

We are hung up on when we answer, and calling back tells us that the Cricket user is out of the area. Has called three times today.

when I answer the phone there is no one there... I want a name and or address... I'll take care of the rest.
