Very annoying people calling to collect debts some that I have already paid. Even when the call is blocked, they get through. They call from early (7:30a.m. to late 9:00 p.m. I don't know how to get them to stop calling.

Your problem is very easily solved.  By the way, they are only allowed to call from 8 am to 9 pm your time.

Lie.  Google does not make reports.  Google returns with links to websites based on search algorithms.  Not that I would expect you to understand that.  Any reports that are in the links are either furnished by the website themselves or by people making reports to the website.

Got a voicemail that this was regarding a bill from HCA (hospital). We have not used HCA for years and we don't have any overdue bills from them. BTW, you can tell a debt collector to contact you by mail and to stop calling. A legitimate collector must have a way to contact you, but it doesn't have to be by phone. Make sure they tell you the name of the person they're trying to collect the debt on--it could be they have you mixed up with someone else's name. Do not make any admission or acknowledge any debt or that can start the "clock" over again for the amount of time they have to collect the debt.
